[One & Only] Clan Chat Reporting

If your pushing or if ur a leader yes ur clan could collapse and supercell can take weeks out of the game to respond

Then there is the opportunity cost which turns the players away from staying in this game. The buttons rewards hoppers for no reason but punishes leaders. If they don't fix it soon I will start a gang to abuse the button just to make a point.

Clash Lives Matter...

Will SC use discretion? What if your in an adults only 18+ clan that advertises and recruits by letting those know they allow swearing, political discussion etc in the clan? Will you still be punished for inappropriate behavior? Even though in said instance it wouldn't be inappropriate? Can you be punished then?

Please, can any mod reply to this? It's important.

Personally, I'm quite willing to believe the reason that they gave, that it's to make getting rid of spam/scam bots, etc, much easier. As Stormy posted, it is a lot easier to press a button than to take a screenshot and mail to Support so hopefully more people will be inclined to report them.

I do think that the "inappropriate behaviour" that Smolson posted could potentially have too much leeway for troll reporting in adult clans though. If the operative receiving the report were to actually look at the clan and see "adult clan, swearing allowed" in the description and decide that, whilst a technical breach of the ToS, swearing was not inappropriate then that would not be a problem. I suppose we'll have to wait and see, being slightly more careful in vetting new recruits.

From what I understand SC are only interested in catching modders and illegal gem buyers with that report button.

I feel like I got screwed by SC....

so therefore never invite those you dont know personally, majority of clan members who was recruited at global will leave ..

According to Smolson a few pages back the report function only sends a copy of the chat in the clan to SC. It isn't useful in punishing illegal gem buyers or modders....just reporting chat. It does nothing else but serve to report chat.

He even says to use the other in-game report function to report any other issues including modding.

Hence why I'm extremely concerned as a Member of an adults only clan. Especially one that allows conversation of topics not allowed in global, with the language to boot.
