purchase trees with the paintbrush tool

the paintbrush tool in edit mode is very useful for moving trees/bushes en masse, so could we also use it (or something else to buy en masse) to purchase trees/bushes? I'm getting carpal tunnel over here or something :^)

Also, being able to request revival help en masse would be lovely too. This is taking forever trying to put 1400 trees up for help at once.

How does the paint brush tool in edit mode move trees, etc? I've never don't that.

you pick up all of your trees by clicking this button http://i.imgur.com/od3Kaag.png and then after placing one back down, you click the paint brush tool next to it and then you can drag the paint brush across the screen to place them on the ground you're aiming at.
