Sure it's unfair to those who went through this painful grind and maxed out their heroes and walls. But think about it. The number of players leaving this game has increased in the past few months resulting in a huge number of inactive clans that are not warring. Not everyone can go through this grind till the end and they simply decide to abandon their base. That won't help sustain an active Clash of Clans community. Hence the need to welcome the change.Quote:

Looks like people are making analogies to prices of tv's and iphones. Since people choose to try to relate this game to the real world i will play along. Companies dont want to discount their older models but they have to because people dont want them as much as they used to. There has been no drop in people's desire for lvl 10 and 11 walls plus s.c. sets the prices of these walls based on their whim, not on market forces.
Also, s.c. has changed their mind about upcoming updates based on things people say here (f.c. update) so we are all within our rights to give our feedback here and expect to not be called names (wth is a "salty princess" anyway?) by people who have chosen to behave rudely.
As if they were "cheap", now ...

A player that has invested in max walls at this point will have spent 600 million more resources on walls than the next guy that comes along. That's more than a third of what few ever even reach. I personally don't think the reduction was needed at all (and for the record I'm not finished with the wall grind). I think it drastically cuts down on the sense of the accomplishment as well. I sense quite a few frustrated high level players once they realize the difference in cost.
Look at it that way. Every time I'm looking for a base to raid people have low level walls, some have full legos and yea, there is a low percentage of people with full lavas or magmas. I think the biggest problem with walls was that the price to upgrade legos is times 3. It is really frustrating when you start the lava grind. I finished lavas 4 weeks ago and I'm 100 walls into magmas now and it doesn't feel expensive at all, thats because its just 1m more per wall. It makes sense to increase wall prices by 1m for every new lv. lv9 1m, lv10 2m, lv11 3m, lv12 4m. It shouldve always been like that. I dont get why some people are angry about this. Oh wow you had the real grind bla bla. You know, the higher prices you paid made you enjoy them earlier. I could cry over 400m gold/elixir too for my 300 lavas and 100 magmas I spent 1m more per wall than people post update. I dont cry, because Im not a baby and Im happy for everyone able to enjoy this. Especially lavas wont feel as bad with the new pricing. Clash on!
I currently have 158 Lavas and 118 Magmas with the remaining walls at different levels below 10.
The wall price reduction wasn't needed and in fact, people will max the 50 Level 12 walls in no time flat regardless of the price and specs.
Personally, I'd have liked to see a 10 million a chunk wall price and the construction of walls limited to maxed TH11s above Titan League only .. fix the ability to upgrade walls to your league and overall village state :-)
Anyhu .. I'm sure that I personally will have the walls upgraded a bit faster now, not that maxing them out has ever worried me.

I don't get it. So the people who dedicated their time and effort to have stronger walls are the cry babies? Versus the players who have been complaining about the walls being too expensive because they want the game to be easier?Quote:
