Two million gold or elixir is certainly not a fire sale.

Someone starting their clash journey today certainly has a much longer road ahead of them then those who started 4 years ago (when th8 was the maximum townhall) . If these changes will attract and retain more people to clash then I am all for it.

Ofcourse this game is enjoyable, but as with every game known to exist, there are some players that put a ton of time and thought into the game. It is those folks who are annoyed that all their hard work was diminished because of the substantial reduction in price to walls. Folks keep quoting a 600k number, but do they realize that the real number is 600 million. Again, SIX HUNDRED MILLION resources that they had to farm have now been eradicated for players who chose not to do it previously. Many of us kept 1 builder free just for walls, and had to wait until a builder came available for other upgrades. Folks are upset about that, myself included, so we are venting. We do not need to be insulted, mocked, and criticized because we feel we were slapped in the face by SC.

I personally think its more, as your storages get closer to 4 million, your more likely to get attacked, more likely to lose more loot, than if you cold spend it quickly at 2 or 3 million a wall piece. hmm...

Well, you weren't slapped in the face. You CHOSE to do the walls when you did. Others didn't. You have to live by the choices you make. You can't possible assume that the cost in resources is going to stay constant for the entire time this game exists. It doesn't work that way. These are real life lessons you learn at the expense of playing a free to play game. I did exactly what you described. Worked my tail off, keeping a builder free for walls. Now the cost is less, and I'll have an easier time with the walls on my alt. It doesn't affect what I did to max the walls on my main at all. I CHOSE to farm the walls.

My preference is to not have the walls reduced in price. This isn't a huge deal to me, but that is my preference. I don't think there should be "compensation" in the form of gems. I do think there could be some recognition to those who completed their walls prior to the price cut in the form of some sort of loot bonus, that they likely would use on the level 12 walls. I'm not losing sleep over this either way.

I'm not pro or anti engineering. SC has constantly been tweaking war matching since the advent and I don't blame clans for trying to take advantage and I don't blame SC for continuously adjusting it to try to create fair matches.

500 million in one update is significantly more than all other changes. That is why there is a negative reaction. I don't like it, but it doesn't make me not want to play, I'm not asking for gems, etc. It is an advantage to me on my mini accounts, although not one that is necessary in my opinion since I thought walls were priced fine before anyway.

Walls are walls. I always had a feeling they would get a price change. Sure, some people may hate the new changes, but in reality it is for the better of the game.

Also, would anyone really want level 12 walls to be more than 4 million? Like really, that is insane.

Even if they did, the only solution is to pay out the 600k resources, but I don't see that happening.

I agree with stevo that SC probably won't do anything and if they did do anything the thing to do would be to give a loot bonus to those who completed the walls before the price cut. I'm not sure how feasible that is, though, so I don't expect it to happen. Free level 12 walls to those that had the level 11s done or something like that would've probably taken the sting out of this for a lot of players too. Again, I don't anticipate it happening though.

Yes, I would've been happy with 5 million. However, they don't have to be more than 4 million, they could've stayed at 4 million or even gone down. There is nothing that says that after someone has already put millions into that wall section that the next one up can't just be 1 million more.

For the most part, the lvl 10 and 11 walls have been an outlet for loot while builders were busy or all else was done. I had some reservations about reaching the end of completely maxing the base. If the walls were done, I would have just been seeing loot disappear, just as DE was for a short time. What would I have missed, nothing, but then again the enjoyment comes from many places where the last level of walls wasn't making much difference for me IMO.

What will we gain? I would rather have more players than less approaching end game play. They also still have to invest effort or gems to get to full max. It is mostly a non issue for me.

We do not comment on individuals, what warnings or infractions he may have is a private matter.

But you do have to report things, or they are often missed.

There are only 13 moderators, covering the whole set of forums, and all of us are volunteers, doing it unpaid, in our spare time - most of us are in full time employment.

Which means we simply don't have the time to read anywhere near every thread, never mind every post bin long threads. So we rely on people reporting posts which violate the rules, or many will just be missed.

Every report is looked at, and a decision made on what action may be necessary. Many posts which are just as bad but are not reported get missed.
