I will tell you what is a rational decision here.
Raid twice a day, snipe th only. Rush your base to th 11. End.

Just walk away..I am doing it on Jan. 1st... I had planned on doing before the wall deduction, but that made my 3.5 year addiction an easier choice. It will be tough to quit cold turkey.. but it is the only way. My respect to all those on the wall grinding journey. It was tough at times but worth it...in a year, if the game is still around everyone will have maxed out walls (prolly only be 2 million by then) so the whinner will win. But whatever...
EXACTLY!!! I don't have to participate, but I did, we also didn't have to max our walls, but we did! The point is still that this sense of entitlement for our own choices, and the complete disregard for the long term health of the game is completely mind-blowing.
Enticing new players to play to the higher levels is a GOOD thing! Reducing the dreaded costs of grinding the walls and heros is a way to encourage players to play to a higher level, thus extending the life of the game and increasing the level of competition. People who can't see that are being short sighted and missing the big picture.
Mmmhmm and when did anyone say that was a bad thing???
And may i remind you that the majority of the paying players are the ones with max walls. Also the ones that are upset.
So alienate the current game supporters in the hopes of getting more supporters somewhere down the road?
Sounds like a risky move to me!
I agree that SC may have had no other choice to keep the game going. However, not liking it and not participating any more does not make me short sighted. It makes me rational because my cost-benefit analysis for playing the game has been fundamentally altered. Also, I have every right to speak up when SC does this without even saying a peep to the players who just lost their competitive advantage that they worked so hard for. The manner in which SC did this is textbook bad.
Exactly the opposite. Now everyone knows the price of virtually everything could drop. So instead of grinding my way to lv 10 walls( I have 7 pieces of Lv 10 wall before the update), why don't I just sit chill and wait for the discount?
As you can see if there wasn't a deduction of 1 million I would probably be raiding some base right now, but instead I am just wasting y time on this forum replying to your post. How is it going to get people spend $? I wouldn't spend a cent in 2017, and I assume all my coleaders are doing the same. I am wondering why anyone would even calculate the gem value of the walls since now I am expecting another price reduction of walls within half a year.
Yes there will be new players, but they won't need to spend a cent until about th 9, which is half a year later. The only guys that could be lured to spend $ are those who rushed and now trying to max, but how long will they last?
I am predicting another prince drop within half a year.
Now or they will release new levels for AQ n BK to Lv 50, and Warden to probably 30. My builders will be busy but I will rush to get all the extra collectors out and only work on those.
Those who are on payroll probably will have a buyer beware bumper stick now.
Guys you are paying to have your walls higher and have a temporary advantage that's the whole point of getting things once they are out. If your going to complain every time something gets discounted then wait a year and get it when the cost goes down. It's the same logic as a video for 60 then a GOTY edition a year later for 20. Your paying to have a head start.
