[One & Only] Update Discounts - Walls

This is the same as complaining about people buying used cars for less than a new one. Quit your whining.

I will complain if I want. I will express whatever the heck I want and all the players that are telling me to shut up for not being completely satisfied can take a hike. If you don't like what I have to say then skip over it.

It will be interesting to see if people will continue to pay as much money into the game. People pay money in order to gain an advantage and make a better base than the next guy. However, after seeing how Supercell is willing to take that advantage away once it is deemed that the advantage is too hard to obtain, paying the money for the advantage does not make as much sense. The advantage is only temperorary, but a smaller bank account is not.

So the respective th can dump loot before they are available to be stolen. We'll see how storage raiders adapt to this

This is exactly right and is what I was concerned about before the update. There was another thread where someone was worried about de - I don't see where the problem lies there. The most famous loot problem was the th8 elixir wall dump of 2015. Messing with wall prices can be dangerous because they are a loot dump. It used to be balanced with the loot cap as you say. Hopefully the new prices do not cause a problem.

SC never said they were reducing the price of walls because of it being too difficult for newer players. The price was reduced in order to differentiate between lvl 12, 11, and 10 walls. Another option would have been for SC to raise the price of level 12 walls.

I suspect that for every person who is unhappy with this price reduction, there are many more who are happy with it.

CoC has a very exciting future.

Exactly I bought gems once to get 5th builder. Thought about doing it again and then saw how troops were nerfed or changed to keep the game moving as SC desires. While these changes occur to keep the game balanced and fair for all they are not necessarily without cost to some. And yes this leads to resentment but players that really enjoy the game get over it and 'adapt'. As for me I will loot for any advantage I receive in this game,I really like looting, but SC will not be selling me anymore gems.

Forget about money! How about the time I spent gathering the resources to do the upgrades?
Sadly, I do agree with statements above saying that the changes will benefit a majority of players. I'm not one of them, so, sadly, after 4-5 years playing this game, I am forced to leave. I can't even bear the thought of all those wasted hours.

Why leave? You had fun getting to where you are so why not continue playing the parts of the game you enjoy?
