Not sure why people are so angry with others being frustration regarding costs going down. Also, not sure I saw where OP said he wanted a refund. It's a bad spot to be in. You work hard to grid the walls (or pay for them) and then it is changed. It's a classic bait and switch. Makes you feel foolish for having not waited. I get it. I may not agree but why so mad about their opinion.
I personally don't really care. I have lv12 walls. I like seeing my clan mates so happy they don't have to grind so much. In the end it's not going to make much of a difference to me. On to the next grind - remaxing my heroes. In the end, for better or worse, I play for the grind anyway.
I get what your saying, after all the work and money you have put in, one could expect just a little bit of support or loyalty from SC, unfortunately maybe in some little way i.e. Xmas gifts and some tweaks here and there, known or unknown. But what I think your asking will never happen, end of day it is still a business and all the analogies like it being similar to a car dealership is true. SC will always look at what is good for business and balancing some kind of gameplay that will have a majority of people playing remain. End of day it is still a game. I'm not in a position to advice but this what I always say to friends in a group, hobbies are here to take the stress from work once that hobby gives you more stress than the realities of life then maybe it's time to rethink things. My 2 cents. Answering you in a passionate way because we are human and have gone through this. Ultimately we all have to make individual decisions that's good for us. Hope that helps.
Are you going to give back all the elixir, gold, and DE that you got in TH sniping that is not available to the newer players? Are you going to give back all the DE that you used lightning on the storage? The game changes over time. :thumbsup:
That's assuming that all of them actually sniped AND used lightning spells on the Dark Storage.
I would be really surprised if anyone who played this game back then didn't do it at least a little bit. Maybe or maybe not on lightning but almost definitely on TH sniping. It was an accepted playing style then.
The problem now is, walls aren't tied to the loot cap, so we'll expect to see th9 and th10 dumping loot before they can be stolen.
Loot cap:
Th9 - 2.5mil
Th10 - 3.3mil
So the respective th can dump loot before they are available to be stolen. We'll see how storage raiders adapt to this
