What do u mean by "solitary bees and ladybugs?" There are no bees and ladybugs that freely fly around. Bees only go to nectar and back to their honeycomb? Ladybugs don't exist, except on a statue.
We also don't have owls, but having owls WOULD be a GREAT idea!!!
Solitary bees don't live in hives. Actually they hibernate and breed inside the 'hotel', so you wouldn't have to see them flying around.
And the owl could turn up with the tree, like the birds with the bird bath or the raven.
