But you can't upload avatars with the in-game system, nor can you access your avatar any longer within the new GC set up, so those have to be I am guessing FB avatars?

Yes, I assume so. But I see them for my non-FB in-game friends as well.

I really miss the Avatars. It's not just the ease of knowing who has been by with a glance, but when the Avatars are there it feels so much friendlier & I feel like I've seen a friend.

I needed to find a GC contact on kik the other day, it took ages not being able to match up the Avatar (I know not everyone had the same on both, but most did).

I want my friends Avatars back! Please...

I so miss the avatars too. It would be wonderful if there was a way of getting them back.

I see some, i.e.. Tomville, Sooty, Robin, Daz, Vfrood, but not Gymgirl, LetTheMusicPlay, Tiggerr or Cowslips... I wonder what the common denominator is?


Edit: I cannot update my device to iOS10, so maybe I am seeing GC avatars, even though none of the above are my GC friends?

The common denominator might be face book. While some folks don't use it to play, they use it and might be logged in. I have an account, but never use it and don't log in.

I like the "please leave it if you can" It shows you understand the compelling urge to shop and that sometimes the urge overcomes us all. I hate competition in my games and would hate feeling the need to grab everything, just because I could. I will buy out those veggies though ;-)

I really should read first and reply all in one place. Heavy sigh. Anyway, I played that Town game for awhile and I think I remember them having an in game friend thingy with avatars. So it's possible
