Every time I log into hay day lately I seem to get bored after a little while, there isn't much to do in the game. When the derby is happening that's great, but it needs more, to keep you coming back. Some other games I have played have quests or events on a regular basis and by completing theses you get gifts of some kind. Is it possible to implement this in hay day please :):thumbsup:
There are weekly events, though. Is that not what you're looking for?

No. Next to your RSS (Road Side Shop) there is a sandwich board (notice board on the ground). Every Friday (well, 11am Friday morning UK time) an Event starts and it's listed there. They last 4 days. When you open your game you normally get a 'flyer' showing what the event is.
If you look at it right now it's blank, but if you tap on it you can see the tabs. Personal & Global. Some Events are just personal and you get various different types such as 'double coins'. You only have to do enough to get as far as the 'globe' (it's on the personal tab when the event starts) to share in the Global Prize, but if course if everyone did that we wouldn't hit the target! Also the more you do, the more rewards you get & HOPEFULLY this week, that'll be Christmas Deco!
The Events are mostly Boats & Trucks, but occasionally Town or Fishing. We must be due a Fishing one as it's been ages, so maybe this week for the Global Goal.
Once every couple of months there's one on a Wednesday for walk up visitors, double coins, that's fun!
Anyway, someone can probably link you to a good thread about it if you want more details.
Thanks for replying to me. I was thinking more along the lines of quests that some other games have, where something comes up that gives you a quest line to complete and at the end of it if you can complete it, it gives you some really good items, say planks, nails etc anything that can help you advance in the game. It makes it more interesting...it's sort of say make five jumpers for someone and when you have done that the next part of the quest appears and you have to do something else and this can go on for as long as the game makers want it to till you get your prize at the end, just gives you things to do while your playing
Okay, but this is exactly what the events do, though? It's like 'do 4 trucks, and get a prize', then the next prize is at 12, 26, 50 and 100. Or 1, 2, 4, 7 and 10 boats. Or... is it 10, 30, 90, 190 and 360 pounds/kgs of fish? Then if the global goal is reached (among every player), you will get a main prize, most of the time it's 5 diamonds.
Similarly, I don't know what level you're on, but if you have the town unlocked, you will make something (say, a sweater) for a visitor and they will give you something in return. (They may just need 2 or 3 buildings first)
I've been getting a little bored myself. I don't do derby anymore, tho I do miss it. I am not in a neighborhood anymore. Left the one I was in months ago!Quote:
