No one can answer that because it keeps changing.
IF at any point it matches, it will be fleeting & your chances of seeing it are virtually nil.

Well I've answered my own question:
I currently have a boat score of 101,724 and am position 101,716 in the Global players ranking - so only 8 apart.
I am of course aware that when I fill my next boat I my numerical player ranking will be lower than my boat score!
Not sure of the logic, but I fail at anything numbers related.
Boat Score: 181,972
Global Rank: 8,813
What of mine will match where?

Afraid you are way ahead and your numbers will never equal the numbers will only match when you climb the leaderboard - for you the difference will only grow larger.
It was just something I was watching to satisfy my mathematical brain - job is now done!
You need to call boat back to back using diamonds. Buy 50k dia and ready 100k foods and go. Otherwise you will never reach on top. My some friend on top 50 leaderboard do 1000 boat back to back to maintain their ranking.
Common thing in top 50 leaderboard guys is they all are filthy rich. They spend 100-200 usd per day on diamonds and buying foods.

And @Sooty, it is pretty easy to drop back down in ranking again. Theoretically the threshold for your level could easily reappear again if you wait long enough without helping anyone or doing any boats for the number of people to pass you again so your rank equals your points again.
I think you will find your maths is out. I don't know USD pricing but to call one boat is 20 cents Australian, which is about 15 cents US on the present exchange rate, but US get more gems than Australians for equivalent spend (blame Apple not Supercell). And calling boats back to back definitely does not burn a trunk in a day.Quote:

I've actually been taking a Hay Day break this last month, disheartened at the amount of rubbish that goes on with the boat board. Sending no boats for that time I am told by a friend that as of about 2 days ago that I slipped from 66 to 75th... given that's not much downward movement for no activity you can see that maintaining your place isn't as hard as one might think, it's getting up there in the first place that's the effort.

My rule for myself is not to flag anything I would not fill for someone else. I also tried to flag a variety... no point being "that person" who wants everyone else to fill up all 3-4 of the jam crates, rather than flagging a good selection so more people could be able to help it out. Yes, I saved the very easiest one for neighbours, just because they were neighbours and filling an awful lot of my crates.
Third thing is to have a big network: lots of game friends, old GC friends, FB friends, followers. The more there are the easer it is to get help without overburdening just a few. I think (or at least I like to tell myself) that being grateful helps, so I would often drop by the farm of someone who had filled a crate and buy only one lot of the least attractive thing in their shop as a ty. (Says politely with a straight face, "oh lovely, those tofu dogs look delicious".) And of course filling their boats saves diamonds, so I tried fill as many other people as possible, not just call boats myself.
And finally, just be active and have a goal for how many you would like to get done. That changed for me as I went up. Early on the idea was just say "climb 5 places" whereas later it became "x many points today".
