After getting the final boat achievement I have never really paid much attention to my boat score or where I placed on the global leaderboard. However having helped a lot of peoples boats recently I have been keeping a closer look.
My current boat score is 94,739 which is position 113,644 and my question is:
At what point does boat score exactly equal leaderboard position!!
Perhaps someone who has a boat score around 100,000 may be able to answer?
I heard someone say that when you reach around place 600 you are about the same as Leaderboard, but because leaderboard people are just grinding 24/7 it seems, you would have to grind harder in order to get to the 200th place.
So to answer your question : Around place 600 you start to notice you are pretty close / same as place 200 on the leaderboard.
Not sure what you are after, but the boat leaderboard shows the top 200.
I am at 175,963 points for 8740th place, FYI and if you find statistical nerd ;)
I'm pretty sure what they mean is that you'd have, for example 101,505 boat score points and you're number 101,505 on the leaderboard.
And of course I have no idea, I'm at 20k leaderboard points and position 2.2 million and then some XD

My guess is that boat score will numerically equal leaderboard position somewhere around 100,000
But surely that number would constantly change?
Number 1 is number 1 whether he has 7 billion or 8 billion points, your ranking is related to the value of others points, not the actual number of points.
It's all to do with relativity, not the actual number.
True, but somewhere, AT SOME POINT, it's still going to be very close.
