I think all three have been ruled out make sure to review the ruled out list from time to time.

Reducing walls by 50% is so nice I am with you on that guy.
Wall prices are fine and downgrading/ selling back etc is ruled out.
It is not necessary to keep a builder moving at that fast pace as to need this feature. If you're that concerned set an alarm in your device.
If you want to progress faster than the current amount of builders you have you can A) but more up to the maximum 5 or B) use gems to complete projects.
