i know that supercell has discussed the fact that they will not be porting clash of clans to android any in the near future. i believe that this is a terrible move on supercells part, the fact is androids are taking over the smart phone market and can bring massive amount of revenue for them and greatly expand the players playing clash of clans.
let me know your guys thoughts!
Have you heard of exclusives? They don't want it on android because apple pays them not too. Its simple if somebody really wanted CoC they would get a apple product, or a iPhone to get it, simple marketing tactic.
apple must be paying them a ton to keep it off of android because android is going up while apple is going down.
Get an Apple device.
people are so open minded to the fact that this game should expand past just apple products.
My understanding of the situation is that SC uses apple gaming center to manage their players. Which means less headache and more time developing an awesome game. In order to bring it to android they have to create their own gaming center which is A LOT OF work plus porting users out of apple gaming center will be a nightmare.
In theory it is possible to port the game to android but the android users cannot challenge or see players on apple.
well to me personally, trying to merge the apple players with the android players doesnt really matter. merging is not a must for this game example of this is call of duty it is multi-platform but they do not merge all the players to one network. i was hoping to just bring the game itself to android not the apple side of it.Quote:
