As it stands, layouts are locked for 24hrs if a change is made- I don't remember at what townhall, but that's not the point- which makes sense if your clan is at war. However, when your clan is not participating in a war, this rule doesn't make sense. If your clan is not in a war, recent changes should no longer lock your base for friendly challenges.
It is Th9 in case you want to know when the FC lock begins. I agree, that would solve issues for those in like war-on-weekend clans but not back-to-back-to-back war clans though
Some people have multiple accounts not all in the same clan and on multiple devices. All they have to do is bring up base copy on another account and practice practice practice. All the pain in the butt rules are created because of a few bad apples. The rest have to just deal with it.
I was thinking the same, but then I realized people can just hop out of the clan with a friend or second account, join a new clan, practice, and then rejoin. Much too easy to get around. It is frustrating having to wait the 24 hours though. Especially with minor changes...
