Thanks! It's not quite as bad as completely starting over...I still have all the machines and animals at the ready when the challenge starts. Starting over completely would take a LOT longer!

the most stressful part has been having to wheat and check tool boxes constantly to try to get enough explosives for the mine.

And done!

With the main part of the challenge, anyway. I'm still working on the Metal Illness portion, but I have now created and collected 10 of every available item in the game except the candy items.

EDIT: Total time ended up being a 11 days, 3 hours and 24 minutes!

Congratulations! I take it the not should have read now! So exactly how long has it taken?

Edit: I've just looked back and noticed that my post that said you would do it in a week is timed at one week ago! Yay!

The times stamps on the board are weird... they aren't' very exact, so it was longer than a week. I started at 4:30 pm CST on Saturday the 23rd, and got the very last Apple jam just earlier this morning.

For anyone who is interested, I was waiting to complete the jams for about 4 days. I'd finished making everything else in less than 6.5 days.

Yeah, it was pretty boring there at the end. I don't think there's a way to really speed that part up within the rules, either. When I started the challenge, the first thing I did was plant apple trees, and as soon as they were ripe, I got the jam maker going. From that point on, I don't think I ever let it stop running. It just takes a crazy long time to make 40 jams!

EDIT: I did the math on it: With full Jam Mastery, it takes 23 hours and 43 minutes to make 1 of each jam. So making 10 of each would take just shy of 10 days at minimum, plus the time to get your first apples ready to harvest - which is 16 hours. So I must have had some down time on the Jammer after all, though I don't recall it.
