Th10/Th9.5 Farming Struggle... HELP Please!!!

So, I'm a th9.5 and I can't raid for cr@p since getting bowlers. I'm in Gold 1 and 70% of my raid options are th11's w Eagles.

I'm struggling to find a good place to get loot.
I've tried a bowler giant valk raid combo for purple elixer, giant pekkas baby combo for de, and many others. But I just can't find a groove with all these max 10s and 11s!
Any ideas on what league to farm in and with what troops?

I have: all maxed th9 troops, except the th10 troops: max valks, level 1 bowlers and miners, and max hogs have 7 days left.
I have: max th9 defenses, quite a few level 10 walls- rest 9, one ug camp, 1 camp has 6 days left. Th10 cc castle.
Queen: 16
King: 15 (yes yes, I know I should have ug heros more before going up to 10. But, I'd been at th9 for a LONG time, and had to have a change)

Shout out to myself: I posted here in April 2015 when my hubby and I started our clan, and today we are a level 10 clan with 220 wins and 59 losses! Woop Woop! ;)

Third week as a 9.5 and Im doing fine. First week was tough. No spell factory, and it takes a while getting used to attacking stronger bases and finding the loot patches. I was using barch around 1600 trophies, not much success..

Once spell factory upgraded, I switched to my preferrable giant healer army (14 giants, 2 healers, 70 arch, 20 barb, 4 wall breakers and 6 wiz. Heal, rage, jump and freeze if needed). This has been doing me wonders. Yesterday I made 50k dark elixir. Been sitting between 2000 and 2600 trophies.

My queen is going to level 33. Havent used her in any farming raids, king is staying at 30 while I focus on dark troops lab upgrades, then might do simultaneous heroes.

Got my cc leveled up a couple days ago, which really hasnt made any difference in farming (fill cc with wizards and poison).

Ive built the new walls and traps. All walls are lv10, traps havent been touched yet. Ive unlocked one bowler barrack, soon starting the next. Miners will wait a while.

As of right now, 4 of my builders are working on army camps and one on my queen. Queen will continue to go down, the other builders will work on barracks, traps, new collectors and the third dark drill which I havent even purchased yet.

As for my lab upgrades, the first troop was golem. He has about 5 days left. The order after golem goes something like:
1. Bowler
2. Lava hound
3. Valkyrie
4. Hog rider
5. Freeze spell (probably continously work on this till level 5)

What league are you in?

ive nearly maxed TH10 floating between gold and masters.

others like the bonus up in champs.

Go with Loonion. 45 minions,fill the rest with balloons.2 rages,3 hastes,1 freeze,1 cure.Go to masters,so the bonus help you. I get 2 stars at max TH10s all the time.Save the heroes to get percentage,if things don't go so well,or to kill the enemy queen,if she's exposed.

There are sporadic amounts of dead th10s anywhere in crystal, it seems. Gibarch nets you 100% profit on de, and allows you enough meat to take some storages if you find anything worth it. It's not too bad on elixir either. I do about 20 giants, 4 wb, 5 wiz, and equal parts barbs/arch, but I would imagine any army comp similar would get good results.

I totally understand where your coming from. When I made the jump to TH10 I had major struggles in farming. Right now I have been hangin out down in Crystal and farming with either goblin knife or a giant/healer wiz combo. I don't want to jinx it or anything but the loot in Crystal has been very good over the last 3 to 4 days.

I'm in the same boat, moved to 10 when the October update came out. I had been goblin knifing as a 9 in the Silvers.

Now I get trophy dumped every nite to the tune of 100 -150. I got tired of fighting it and hang in Crystal 3. Seems to be a decent # of bases for barch like attacks.

I always carry 10 Giants and my mini puts 7 L3 miners in the CC in case I run into something really good. The 90 gobs, 50 barbs and remaining archers seem to keep me rolling in loot and offsets the trophy dump so I don't go too deep where the Big Sharks lurk.

Though I did see a thread on sub 200 farming - thinking of taking a dive down to check it out bc I'm not in this war

Move to crystal, use gobs are barch, youll net way more than in higher leagues. Use real armies to get you star bonus and help maintain cups.

Do not farm sub 200, it was pitiful months ago, i see no reason it would be better now.

To answer Klavious, I'm in Crystal 3. I have been going back an forth between Gold (can't think of name) 3 and crystal. I've been using gob knife, and it's working for de- 70% time. However, I'm so low on elixer and de that when one goes up, the other goes down lol I can't get out of this hole!
Also, barch is out of the question lol, I fail every time as I literally never see dead bases. When I made the move to th10 I was in Masters and just used basically war troops.
