Why do we play CoC? What motivates us?

After a long stressfull day I love to come home and play a little clash. I've been on since original Canadian Beta and while I've slowly levelled up over that time, I only get an hour or two a night to play and usually can make close to a million gold give or take. I still enjoy the game immensly wish I had a little more time to play but real life tends to get in the way.
So to answer the question it's a mini escape from reality to be able to enjoy a stress free game and watch the progress of my base, mindless fun.

Aye, this is the strongest motivation for me as well, with the difference on the clan name, course :rolleyes:

The social aspects, and that only :) I like the gameplay too though, dunno why? XD

The main reason why I love this game is mostly the social aspect. I took a year off from playing clash and became addicted all over again once I found the right clan. I also like setting goals for myself and I'm really competitive :p so every time I become a step closer to trying to max my base... I feel like I accomplished something.

Addicting! You gain more respect the better you become.

My motivation is someday farming my base to max and making it to top 200! Of course, i know that you will need to have quite a few gems while no life-ing it to make it to top 200. I am too motivated to stop that dream though :p
