Why do we play CoC? What motivates us?

You took the thread right out of my mounth :) Though my idea this afternoon was more to discuss why CoC became such a big hit (so far) compared to the many less succesful similair apps. You describe the appeal well, and it expains part of the great attraction to this game. Perhaps I'll use this if I start up that thread. But not today, oh no no.

I have some. I just hate most real life people..

So my kids can feel proud of me, one of my happiest moments recently was when one of my kids told me they feel like the luckiest kid in the game because I was his dad

Game's not too bad either.

How old are your kids? Sorry if its too personal but I didnt say that to my dad for a while
