To work 'Clipboard' in 'Search Player'

✔We can copy the profile tag of a player
❌but we can't paste in 'Search player' option.

☑Please enable 'Paste' option in 'Search player' option.

Paste will work on any keyboard app that supports cut, copy and paste functions. (Unlike keyboard cut which can't distinguish the characters from the background graphics).

You can't edit out the pre-positioned hash symbol which is probably there as a reminder but it will still search and find a player correctly.

@OzAudi Thanks for reply but it's not working with Google Keyboard.

I've checked by removing #symbol too. Not working with this also.

Have you used 'Paste' option by Google Keyboard on any Android phone?

how much harder would it be to just type it

I only use Android now. Haven't been a regular IOS user for along time.

I use a number of keyboard apps depending on the device I'm using and my preference with CoC is to use keyboard with cut, copy and paste to speed up mail creation.

Those device/keyboard combinations that support cut, paste and copy ALL allow me to paste into every CoC input field. You might just have to search for one that work with your device and Android version. Try the Google Voice keyboard.

I can't remove the # btw. It appears hard-coded to avoid the user forgetting but it doesn't object if you have two.

I doubt SC will add the paste function to their own input fields. The copy function os only offered because the text is embedded in the background graphics.

Before typing you should remember what to type! It's not harder to type but to remember what to type.

That would be great if they add the same message box (when typing message in clan) when we would type the player tag , also clan tag .

Cause pasting in the game massage box doesn't work with Google Keyboard . :(
