I'm getting my butt kicked in war at th10, largely because my heroes are 15/15, and I need some help. after researching a bit it looks like bowlers are the top troop now for th10 war attacks? what's the army comp and strategy?
BTW, I've got maxed golem, valks & wiz, and I'm facing triple xbows and double infernos.

My advice is to look at a variety of strategies against a variety of bases and find something you are comfortable with trying. You do need your heroes higher to rely on a Queen Walk against mid-high level TH10's but here is a TH10 3 star playlist with lots of Post Update examples that you can browse or speed through:

Use the bowlers as a cleanup strategy for bases with known giant bomb locations since you don't have the benefit of a warden.
TH10 is a 2 star fest. 3 stars are rare especially against maxed opponents. With baby heros, you are unlikely to get 3 stars on the majority of your opponents.
So what do you need to get those 2 stars? Depends on your opponent really but the following is a useful setup:
1 Golly and Golly, giant and EQ in CC
Wiz to create funnel
WB to break initial walls
EQ a decent hole which will enable your valks/heros to get to middle
Valks (make sure funnel area is clear)
Rage to core, freeze infernos (both if possible or one furthest away from valks)
Few bowlers for good measure
Rage again with maybe heal if you take it

Above can be varied depending on your opponents base, but its generally a decent start towards 2 stars on most bases.
15/15 heroes is your problem. Be a lot cooler if you had 30/30 heroes.
My preference is 26 bowlers, 6 healers, 2 jump, 2 rage, 1 freeze and golem/giant/poison in the CC.
i usually have 2 flanking groups of 5 bowlers and 3 healers to create the funnel, then in with CC, jumps, king, remaining bowlers and queen; rage, freeze and poison where best. It's a bit spammy but is hugely effective and will 3* a rushed TH10 and is a pretty guaranteed 2 on the rest. Just got to make sure your Queen is deep enough to take out the airborne cc troops
This is when you learn how important is to go with heroes 30/30 to th10, about the bowlers its not necessary that you'll get 3 stars with them, it all depends on the base, some may get smashed with loons or with QW it all depends
TH10 is generally a 2 star fest right now. Only bases at TH10 which I could say with 90% certainty I can 3 star are badly rushed bases and island bases. Love it when my war target has an island base.
