What is the best clan war strategy for th9?

I am th9 and i use following troops in clan wars:

1 golem (+1 in clan castle)
12 hogs
12 valks
6 wizards,
4 wall breakers
2 archers.

2 heal spell
1 rage
1 jump
1 poison (+1 in cc)

But sometimes i fail and i can't even 2 or 1 star a maxed th9. In last war i got 0 star because of unkilled cc and no heroes (my heroes are upgrading).

Can you suggest me a good 3 star strategy. I tried giant bowler healer strategy and 3 starred before the update. But as we all know things get changed or nerfed too fast in this game. So i doubt if giant healer bowler still works or can u pls suggest me any other strategy for 3 starring th9s as th9

change jump to earthquake. cc spell eq too. that give u 4 eq.

depend on base design but most of the time eq is better than jump

Here is no one size fits all, each base you use a different combination of troops to three star it. I suggest strong combos that are versatile such as govaho HGHB land also goho.

Also remember that having a troop combination doesn't mean automatic three star. People tend to forget that it's all about the execution and deployment for example I could three star a lot of bases with your given troop combination

With x-bow on ground, I like gobolaloon a lot.

Well you kind of highlighted your errors!

* not clearing CC
* not having royals

When you were at th8 and using mass hogs the two key points really were to

* clear CC
* avoid double bomb spot

At th9 you really need to (depending on army comp)

* clear CC
* take down the queen
* create a funnel

Those 3 are fundamental to a successful attack before deployment of troops

6 Wizards not enough and 12 hogs too much. It should be 10 to 12 wizards and 6 hogs enough. Because if enemy cc is unlurable and has dragon and balloons 6 wiz is not enough and may fail

Well warring without heros is like entering battle with your sword arm tied behind your back. If heros are upgrading go red for war. Your army will work fine if you practice and have heros.

I tried this in my last war & couldnt agree more. Even if xbows are set to air, as long as you can take out the queen & 2 AD's you have a good chance at getting 3 stars. It's the bowlers that do the major damage. Get a cc full of them, funnel properly & they add great value to a lot of 3 star strategies.

Couldnt disagree with this more, 4 eqs is so 2015 (haha)

Its all about the double poison now, if you ever didnt kill enemy cc and it was a dragon double poison can take it down

Your combo is fine but cc must be killed and you will never really 3 star a max th9 without your heros

golaloon is very base specific attk even with xbow down you still can fail badly. like 1 or 0 star
