I was wondering if others were having problems with random people spamming friend requests?
It would be great if SC implemented a "block requester" feature. Afterall, if one mutes a person in global, surely they do not want to be their friend.
Thoughts?
I see those a lot as well and just use the red cross feature. Also spent less time on globalwhich helps ;)
I get constantly bombared by requests by indians.
I've had a few random people (possibly forumers, sorry if you were :smirk:) send me a friend request.
Though I rarely go to global, so that may be the reason I get so few requests :p

My whole clan is seeing more. Some have been from the same person spamming the clan presumably hoping for an invite.
I have started leaving them in place, unanswered, as a test of longevity.

Without a chat option I see no point in the 'friend' request. The few random invites that ive received appear to be from clan recruiters.
I think this is because low-lvl players want to be friends with maxed out th10+ players because they think its awesome XD
I also think the friend-requestbutton should be limited, for example make it available once in 2 days. The people who want to befriend random people because they seem awesome, won't request unless they see the person in global. The actual spamming from the same person often is when you are in the global at the same time.
On top of that, maybe a limit to the friend request could be helpful too. The same way you can't get more invites to clans, but then for friend requests.
we need a lock facility ...that we only can give friend request ..others cannot give u friend request
I think a chat from one person to another and a option to block both are good ideals but the feature is still new maybe just some kind of message about guidelines maybe needed.
Or maybe a funny YouTube video like a barbarian getting one friend request then another and another and then a whole bunch fall from the sky and Bury him.
As a kind of hint about the over use of this feature.
