Im currently sitting at TH6 with mainly level 7/8 mines and collectors, I get the majority of my loot from farming so was wondering whether its worth using a precious builder to upgrade a mine. I would be interested in hearing opinions on this, thanks in advance to all who reply!
I went up to TH6 with level 7 mines. Now I'm TH 7 with level 11 mine and having alot of loot, without farming. I actually think you should upgrade to level 9.Quote:

if you are getting the majority of your loot from farming, upgrade your defenses or walls first. your mines can wait.
If you decide to trophy push in the future you will find them much more valuable.
It's free loot everyday...so why not? Think of it as bank interest, we all want more bank interest don't we?
if you get attacked over night, you log in, collect, and you won't have less than before the attack.
that's what i like most about them.

It depends really. If you play 3+ hours a day on average then its not worth it, unless your on holiday but have wifi access, and you can only do one or two raids.
Or if your so addicted you play loads every day then I say keep them for th9, you want your builders doing something a little productive while farming level 10 walls as they will certainly need to be farmed with sleepy builders.
