Should I rush to TH 10? Only my heroes are left to be maxed out.

Need some advice. I'm currently a TH 9 (level 125). I just finished upgrading all my walls to lvl 10 and I also have max troops, spells, defenses, traps... basically everything except for my heroes - BK is lvl 25, AQ is 20.

I'm thinking of rushing to TH 10 since most of my builders are idle and only my heroes are left to be maxed out.

I've read many threads that it's better to max everything before upgrading to higher town hall. But considering the length of time in upgrading heroes (i.e. one week per uprade) and DE cost of upgrading them, it would take me months (since I'm upgrading my heroes one at a time). Plus, I've read some forums that it's a lot better to farm DE at a TH 10 level, hanging around crystal/master league.

Another reason I want to rush is I want to get the new troops which are only available once you get to TH 10 (bowlers and miners are legit troops for war), and be able to further uprade my existing troops.

Also, if ever I upgrade to TH 10, I want to build a TH 9.5 base. I'm not planning to get any inferno tower and another xbow - maybe until both my heroes are lvl 30. I'm planning to get only the new other defenses, traps, walls, etc.

With all this, should I upgrade to th 10?

personally I'd do heroes - TH9 is a great farming level as you can easily roll 8s and it sounds like you are ok against 9s, at TH10 it's a different beast.

I'd get both heroes to lvl 25 at a minimum - I had my AQ maxed and BK at 25. No regrets so far.

In regards to doing a 9.5 for clan wars I'd strongly suggest you avoid purchasing the bomber tower at TH9 if you haven't already. We have a few 9.5 accounts in our clan and one lvl 3 bomber tower draws more war weight than four lvl 8 teslas.

You need to rush a little to be a successful .5 account. I'd recommend skipping some of the splash damage if you can.

I went to th10 when they were 25/25, upgraded camps/lab etc and th11 when they hit 35/35 King going to 40 now and queen to 39 this week. TH10 was a stepping stone for me Warden going to 11 also. Main farming and war troops and spells maxed.

You have a couple of options:

• Stay at TH9 and enjoy war with 30/30 heroes.
• Stay at TH9 and push to Titan, with 30/30 heroes.
• Go to TH10 now and start upgrading camps, cc, troops.

By going to TH10 now, the laboratory and builders will be active (9.5), instead of idle .. that might be desirable ..

As a TH10, you will be offered a lot more TH10s and TH11s in multiplayer .. that does sound scary, but when they are DEAD and ripe for the taking.. it starts making sense. 4040 DE from a dead base is not an uncommon bonus.

Its simple, if you move to TH10 now you'll eventually max TH11 in 2 years time. If you wait another 6 months before you move, you'll max TH11 in 2 years + 6 months. Every second you stay in TH9 right now is a second away from a maxed base.

Should've upgraded a long time ago before you maxed your walls. Hero levels, defense levels, wall levels, all do not matter when you decide to move to TH10. The only factor is troops.

I had written a reply to this about an hour ago (which I forgot to press send on), which included:

"If you ask SoD, he will tell you to upgrade now, as you're wasting time that could be spent on labs, which is the true bottleneck to TH10"... it's almost like I've met him before.

My answer is always this (to the question of whether or not to upgrade).

If your goal is to get to max TH11 asap, then you're past the point where you should have upgraded. However, upgrading with decent level Heroes will help you when you get to TH10 - by all accounts it's not a make or break situation, after all those who way to play the game is press upgrade on their TH whenever they can, regardless of defence or offence. The step up from TH9 to TH10 offence is a big one, and whenever you upgrade it won't be easy - but it will be made easier with good Heroes.

Having read a lot of these type of threads, the general advice for those who have made the step that you and me both are thinking about is: the higher the better. You just have to balance that against "The longer you wait the longer it'll take you to max th11 because it's the labs which are the bottleneck at TH10".

You can go now, you can wait until 30/30. You won't find it impossible now, you won't find it easy at 30/30. It's a personal choice, although I kind of like TH9, and I'm in no rush.

Depends how you're feeling about TH9 - if you want a change up (a big one) go to TH10 - the inferno towers basically change everything.

If you're currently enjoying TH9 then there's no reason to rush it and I'd do a couple more levels of your heroes as farming is significantly easier (and less costly) down there.

For me, I was the former, so I did go to TH10 early but in your position I don't think anyone would call it "rushing" especially if you have walls done.

TH9 is still the sweet spot of the game
