Name Change Idea

Have you ever made a name in clash of clans without thinking? Like "deeznutz" or a name you did not like at Th 5 and you could never change it again? I think name changing should be possible because I have seen a lot of people have harsh names or names they misspelled and they want to change it. I think a name change should be allowed with a cool down like for 3 months or how about having a name change at other certain town hall levels because we all have made stupid mistakes and we should be allowed to change names because many people quit. Also some people do not want to start over and cannot grow thicker skin or they will just quit!

I have a solution that will please all, the SC can give us a chance to change the name on a Christmas event with limited time, example, they may throw an event and in this event the people who want to change the name will have three days to change, and at the end of this event all of the people who were with bad names might change , is a great idea because then nobody will have a chance for life and will have 3 days to be happy again

I don't know about that but I would say the name change should end the way it started by town hall level because at Th 5 we barely have any idea about clash of clans how about another name change at Th 7 or Th 9 something like that is more fair

That's bad.. If you can't get your name right the first time, you definitely can't get it right the second. Supercell already said that it will not give another name change in the ruled out thread. Please stop posting ideas that are ruled out so that amazing ideas could get some attention.

Hi friend, I have done things that I managed to make the right choice, after twice I tried, meaning that your comment has no sense, you have no way of knowing if people will hit the name or not

Easy solution:
Name change starts from TH7.
TH5 players are basically like 5 year old kids, who can't take the correct decision!

I think at TH9 is a better idea, that would people enough time to be mature enough about their choice of name.

Nothing is impossible friend I saw several games in which to change the name was a discarded idea and soon after they left the name change, I have faith that we will still have another chance to change the name of the village

Great suggestions because I didn't have any knowledge of clash until Inwas town hall 7, so maybe they change the name change and add it to town hall 7. However, they might rush to town hall 7 just for a change. Oh wait actually supercell never said they could raise the town Hall level for a name change. You can have a name change only once so I think it should be raised to a higher town Hall level like town hall 7+

It is ruled out, but I do agree, it could be nice for people to be able to change their name, however after the 1st time it should have probably a 6 month cooldown and a gem cost. the gem cost is there for SC's gain and to get people to take it seriously. maybe 500 gems or so to be safe. that would stop the jokers but give people another chance, at a fairly small cost.

I've brought something similar up in the past, and earlier on this year, about using a few gems to get the name changed after using the free chance, but still not happening.

They should allow it, a final name change at townhall 9 or so, with the cost of 10 or 50 gems or something.

so if anyone wishes to do so, they can go ahead after they used up their free turn!

Initially they get a chance to select a name, and if they use an ad name, they can use the free name change option, once that's used up, they get a chance on TH9 at the cost of few gems.

If they fail that too, the next is at TH11 with a bit more cost of gems.

Piece of cake.

I know the decision is overruled and it is very stricter that the name chnage can only be changed once. However, if they raise the name change to another town hall, they never said that feature will never come. Who knows? The sc is full of surprises like gamer said

You should be given a name change for 0.99 USD so if your account is hacked the person can't change your name unless they have your google account or Apple ID

As the only way to gain access to a CoC account (other than physical access to the device) is via a GC or PG account this would not be a good idea.
