Completely new th8 strategy!

GoBoDrag!
Basically a th8 version of GoLaLoon
No fixed army composition, feel free to experiment with and adjust.
Golem, wizards, bowlers, and King to try to take out 2 air defenses (preferably) - lightning quake the other air defense, then about 6-7 drags on the back end to clean up the base.
Spell Composition: 2 Lightning, 1 Rage, 1 Eq, 1 Poison
Give it a try, seems promising and fun to test in war

How is the troops composition? Hoy many wizards do you use?

We don't have bowler at th8.

There's a legend that you could get bowlers by requesting from clanmates. Wonder if this is true?

On a different note OP.

This is something that might be viable but I don't get how it is compared to Laloon, there's nothing similar except the core principle that the KS is a ground phase and the other is air. I see this effective to some extent but not as flexible as GoVaLo.

Seems risky and needs a long time of scouting and planning. I'll still stick with dragloon. I only have to scout for 10-30 secs then boom, 3 stars in 2 minutes.

ARMY COMP:
1 Golem
7 Wiz
2 Arch
7 Drag

bowler comes from your clanmates

You always find a way to say govalo when it is about th8.
But I agree, govalo is more versatile and is and will always be my favourite th8 strat
i even made a mini to start using it again

Quite honestly, dragons are not viable for higher level th8 and also not viable when transitioning into th9 - you should be doing two phase attacks unless you are a new th8

if a maxed base dont have exposed ADs, I just mob hogs. I have a th9 and 3 starring other mid th9s using air attacks. I got used to air. And will love it more since it doesnt hurt DE. If one wants to farm fast in coc, he shouldnt use his DE in war. Elixer troops can do it anyway.
