Donating for level up - Jerk or Tactic

In addition to your question, there also are different ways of looking at the cooperative parts of this game. For example: whether you are donating it for a self-serving reason (to up your level) or donating for altruistic reasons (to support clanmates). As described in your opening post, it's clearly for your benefit and the one you are trying to help is you. Expect that some people would find that selfish and distasteful. Pretty normal.

If my clan leader decided he was donating giants only and I've just got to deal - that would not be the clan for me. For me personally, I enjoy the cooperative support part of donating. I enjoy giving my clanmates what they need. I'm not doing it to up my level because I'm not trying to "go" anywhere with my level. It seems that one member of the Sky family also expressed displeasure for the practice here so maybe that's not where you're ultimately going...

There are a million ways to play this game.

Thank you for your opinion that you actually though about and considered both sides as opposed to jumping to conclusions... I see where you're coming from but when I see a 3 day old clan request does it really make a difference what they get at that point... And they are usually level 19 so level 4 giants should help... It also helps them as well as myself I'm not denying it doesn't help me but it helps them right?

Honestly I really think the ONLY ones who can answer that are the people getting your giants, lol! Maybe stick around in a clan long enough to ask?

Most of the clans dont speak english for one.. And another issue is that these are inactive clans meaning nobody talks... Its depressing really

Do you have Level 5 Wizards? Can you donate 3k donations consistently per season? If not, I don't want you in our clan either. I'm just calling out the clans that think Archer are troops that work out on every situation, but really they don't. They are flat out horrible on offense CC. They are a ton better if you deploy them manually.

What I don't understand is that we are all the sucker of someone else, what does that mean?

As for the others they chimed in on the thread, that they donate giants regardless. I am just expressing how I feel about them.

Hopping to dead clans with 20+ requests sitting for days you think those people really care what they get, highly doubt it. Also missing the fact that a requests sitting for atleast 2 days the person most likely has already been attacked having an empty cc! By the time they log back on they prob will have been attacked atleast a few more times! Calling these generous donators jerks makes no sense! People with lvl 1-3 troops who get overlooked by their own clan but being picky about what lvl 5-6 troops they get ♥♥♥♥, cmon man! Shaqtin a fool!

Overall think request chat box kinda ruined it for some clans as people feel they have no need to ever talk, just put what they want in the request and keep it moving! I know many have experienced the clan mate that requests drags, pekkas, wiz every 20 min expecting just those troops but usually never dishes any of those troops out!

It's like sitting at a restaurant ... you hear a (in your opinion) not well groomed swearing sweating (disgusting) guy saying a story about a "not well groomed swearing sweating (disgusting) guy" ... Then if the chain goes one way ...You gotta wonder if you are that disgusting guy in another's perception.
