It is not as bad as you think... Eventually you forget about how much you used to be able to raid.. i have just taken 225k Gold at TH9. Theres gold in them there hills... you just need to get over the TH8 thing and move on...
Oh and if you cant... As suggested... Leave your Collectors and Mines away from Defences.. Do us all a favour..
It has nothing to do with th level the last upgrade made matchmaking fairer and u noe find ppl closer to your skill level
I see this a lot and I don't really get why so many ppl feel th9 is so bad for farming? I farm th9 in in the 1600-1800 range and get 200/200+ bases fairly easily with ~10-20 scans. I think you just have to be able to attack halfway decent bases..
I'm a premature TH9er myself and I feel your agony, but whining and complaining would get you no where, time to suck it up and face the consequences of your actin, eventually you get to hang with the big boys of th9
i was a prem th9 and knew i was making it hard when i decided to go to the th9.....but i thought of the defensive ability it would give me.
im doing really well now.. i look at th8 friends and see their storages full all the time, but i raid arounfd 200/200 moslty from other th9 and some th8.....just stick to your plan and keep smiling;)

Unlike my friend, I was too scared to go to TH9. I actually cancelled the upgrade with about 18 hours remaining a month ago. I've since enjoyed raiding TH7 for 200/200 :D Going TH9 too early will absolutely make it more challenging, that is not to say you can't do it. The only real difference is when I raid TH7 I dont have to think all the time and can just spam my troops and win, much better when im casually playing at work.
I don't think I'll ever go to TH9 unless they alter the loot penalty or create a TH10.
I'll go to TH8 once my TH7 is maxed but the only reason that someone would go to TH9 from a maxed TH8 base is if they are getting bored and want to start going up the trophy list.
Because you can't farm with Th9 ;) Th9 a challenge to test your skill etc.....Quote:
