Using DE For Walls

Not sure if this has been ruled out, and I can't believe no one has suggested this yet - but why can't we use DE for walls? Maybe starting at Town Hall 10, since we have two wall levels, and they are expensive, and so many to upgrade?

Not sure what the conversion ratio would be, but maybe 25,000 DE for a level 10 wall and 50K DE for a level 10 wall or something along those lines.

At least that would give the TH10 and TH11 villages with max heroes something to use their DE for. Sitting on 200,000 DE in your storage day after day gets boring.

I can understand the want for this, however this would drain the game of DE so in my opinion this shouldnt be considered. There's so few players with max hero's that this would just be abused by rushed THs with small hero's. This would work if there was a conditional requirement of needing 40/40 hero's before allowing players to use DE into walls. In which case I believe this would be a great idea.

The proper ratio in terms of value of the resource would be 30k for each lava and 40k for each magma.

Do we know how many (or what % of active players) have max heroes?

Since many player's dark elixir storage is full I agree that Wall could be upgraded by dark elixir as well

Love this idea... maxed my heroes last week, now sitting on full DE Storage and drills.

Ratio DE/Elix is about 1:40 so upgrade to lvl 10 should be about 50k-75k and to lvl 11 75k-100k ...
