Treasury Loot

Maybe I'm alone in thinking this but I feel like if our gold or elixir storages are full and we get more loot that it should automatically be transferred to our treasury. I love raiding but when my storages are full their is no point to getting on CoC until a builder is free which takes at least a week or longer cause upgrading things at a th9 takes a while.

Gems. They free up a builder

So your walls are maxed? Otherwise you should always keep one builder on walls so your stores don't fill up.

Or better still keep one builder free and use excess on walls, put that free builder to work as another nears completion.

I'm doing my walls with my gold now but I mainly mean elixir..but was just throwing all resources in there as example

I would like to be able to keep my elixir I'm looting for but since my storage is full it disappears

You want to hide your loot from attackers. As nice as that sounds, it wouldn't do any good for the game's economy.

You having full storages means others are offered great loot when they see your base in match making.

.. buy some or all of the decorations (flags, statues, etc) .. sell them back at 10% of the purchase price when you need a little extra ..

Having a builder free to sink the rest into walls works well. Sometimes you can time the 5th Builder to be ready in time for when you think you will have max storages.

That is one opinion - it is a reasonable way of playing, but not a particularly efficient way unless you are having difficulty gaining/retaining enough loot to keep builders busy.

If you are somebody who wants to max their buildings as soon as possible, then better to keep all builders working on buildings. Don't worry about the fact you will lose some loot to raids, just make sure you raid more than you lose :)
