Some people are not understanding the intent of my forum post, and I do not wish to argue:
1) I am not struggling as a TH10
2) I do not want the game to be easier
The intent of my post:
1) Island bases are being used by almost everyone in war, which is boring
2) 99.9% of clans I face are mass bowling, which is boring
This is just my opinion, no need for harsh comments.
Funny isnt it how everyone wants a game to be easy or its not fun

So you want to spend hours making anti 3 bases, and then easily 3 star peoples bases who have spent hours making anti 3 star bases?
Now that is what i call not fun!
If you want an easy game where no effort is needed i think your looking for the hay day forum!
So you are attacking th10's with th9 troops and royals in Master I league and wondering why its tough?
Drop down to Gold, do some goblin knife attacks or barch, get your troops to th10 level and then climb back up to the more challenging leagues.
TH9 is the best place to be. If you want to war you have a wide range of options. 30/30 heroes are no joke. You want to push heck that's fun too. I am not going to TH10. Not this year. Will wait till my other accounts are maxed TH9 then might go up with my primary. Till then TH9 it is.

PS. When raiding I usually 90% pretty high level TH10's in champs but thanks for the useful tip.
Th9 was nice and safe, th10 is once it starts to get more difficult and more fun. Farming gibarch is no different then th8-9 for me, but with the extra space for troops and spells, war is more fun for me. Infernos add a new variable to work on and even so you should be matched with a th10 in war and if you're the highest in your clan then you should have an easy th9 to 3* with your second attack. I didn't ever regret going to th10, as I'm sure I won't regret when I hit th11 in 3 days.
(Ps: I aim for 3* in war not 2* and get it every so often....)
My reading comprehension seems to surpass yours in this instance: you said you are bored because of constant 2 stars. I am not bored because due to my high level troops, royals, and experience at th10 I am able to 3 star those bases you can only manage 2 on due to your lack of troop levels, experience, and low royals. So to reiterate my previous statement: get better troops, higher royals, more experience, then come back and tell me you are still bored and you'll have a valid argument. Until then you are simply seeking instant gratification for something that takes time.Quote:

And I am trying to push to Titan, I don't know where all the complaining is coming from, I don't get 3 stars often but it happens if I hit the right base. The loot is decent and the bonus really makes up for it

I went to th10 with 30/28 heroes and maybe 30 walls left to do. I figured while my SF, lab and CC were upgrading that I would knock out the last 2 queen levels and, heck I'm getting more walls anyway so who cares if they're all maxed. Boy was I wrong, because I was having so much fun at th10 that I had to gem my spell factory and lab, so I could start my upgrades right away. Town hall 9 is the new th8. Town hall 10 is exactly what I needed to get back into this game. I'm having a blast. Actually I'm having so much fun that in one and a half short months I've started my king to 33, queen is at 30, all my walls are lava and I have 21 magmas. The only thing I need elixir for is walls and lab. I'm upgrading traps and defenses as often as my builders become available (4 builders busy 1 open for walls at all times) I haven't had this much fun since I discovered lvl4 valkyries.

If people were easily tripling your base at TH10, you were rushed or had a square base. Otherwise, you are using hyperbole which isn't useful to the conversation. Triples were never easy, even in March. And it was fun to have a chance at tripling. The game in its current state, is not a whole lot of fun in war. Two stars are all the same. Sounds like you and the op really with you could go back to your th7 days and have all the fun in the world getting 6 stars every war with your eyes close, so much fun haha
You are full of non-sense. Look at the CWL stats. TH 10 on TH10 and TH11 on TH11 triples are almost non-existent. WOOHOO! You can triple rushed TH11's and a town hall below you. Sounds perfect.Quote:

Updates have made everyone in my clan and clans we face aim for two stars (which I mention in my post); however, I do not struggle to get high 2 star or 3 star attacks.
No, I'm not. But I'm also not the one that is bored. I like that its extremely difficult to get a 3 star on a th10: makes it mean that much more when it gets 3 starred compared to a th9 that can get 3 starred with goho and lvl 30 heroes regardless of the base layout.Quote:

Most of our newer th10s have quit, so I understand what you're saying. I very much doubt these 10s are 3 starring in war, unless it's on brand new, rushed 10s.
richard calls out th11s who say they can usually 3 here. He has them visit his clan and FC. I bet if I visited the clans of these 10s who are saying they are always 3 starring, their stories would fall apart.
however, I do know 4 ex th10s and 4 ex th11s who would agree with OP.
Understand where you're coming from, op, been a 10 since December. Also remember though, just how boring th9 war got with maxed heroes. Might be different now, but can't say. Do know th10 was headed in the right direction before all the def buffs. Lack 33 bricks being fully maxed and 3 star just often enough in war on other decent 10s to think it just must be me. Can't count mm attacks, as is easy to reel off a dozen 3s in a row on farming bases with heroes down, no cc troops, etc....but for those claiming to 3 star 10s often in war, all I can say is that I haven't seen ya. Still haven't been 3ed by another 10 in mm nor war, and fear I'll see th11 before it happens. The only 3s I see on my bases are by maxed 11s with 23+ bowlers, and those aren't always for 3. Let's hope they tweak a round of offense next update and give the defs a rest.
