Bowler vs Valk for war

Hi, I'm a new th10 with maxed th9 troops and 20/20 hero's. Is it worth upgrading bowlers to level 2 or valks to level 5 for war? Which will help me 3 star max th9s and beat th10s more?

It's difficult to be objective, as it depends upon the base. But, as of today, both Bowlers and Valks are very useful in war. Which one to upgrade first is up to you. Good luck!:)

Valks are a good dark troop to upgrade while your dark barracks are upgrading for bowlers. Get both is my advice.

Valks, certainly Valks. I have upgraded both as my 1st 2 upgrades and feel that Valks are a safer 3 star against TH9 now you have the extra spell (although I failed miserably on an attack last night, my rage spells didn't drop so my queen died, enemy cc survived and took it's toll on my troops. Still got 2 stars but not happy).

I use QW and a hog to create a funnel on 1 side of the base and lure/kill the cc troops.
CC Golem and wiz to create a funnel on the other side
Send in king and a shed load of valks and rage all the way. Don't tend to need all of the spells but I keep a heal just in case for the end.

Well. As a th9 I'd prefer you did bowlers first. That way you could feed my HGHB and Stoned HoBo addiction with max bowlers in my cc. :smirk:

For a TH10, I would max valks.

Agree with the above, Valks for TH10.

It seems (obvious statement warning) that troops in this game have a significant balance adjustment, when going to max level, from the previous level, making them more useful.

Thus - Valks are the troop of choice at TH10 and Bowlers at TH11.... Until everything is changed again... :cool:

Thanks for the replies, valks seem more popular as of now so I will do them first whilst my dark barracks upgrade.

If you strive more for 3*ing then bowler is the answer.

bowlers are the best way to get 3 star.as a maxed out th 10 i would prefer bowlers over valkys.
