If resource isn't a factor, just use QW + GiWiVa. If you have a high levelled queen, you can pretty much 3 star any TH9.
lvl 8 queen and yes you are right but my low lvl queen and lvl 2 valks create problems in 3 starring
Either Qw the outside for 1 star and some loots, or go for all out 3 star hits.
I QWed my way from Crystal to M1 then GiHeHo my way into Champs 3 where I sat for six months using nothing but GiHeHo to 3 star bases all over the place.
The only downside with the QW was if I Needed to use many spells and a lot of healers. If I could do no spells and 4 healers with a handful of archers to help move the queen in one direction or the other, then it as a Very fast way of getting one star over and over. But I didn't do it with a level 8 Queen.
A full GiheHo army with all spells is only a 30 minute cook time. A 3 star hit for 30 cups will get you there pretty quick.

I got to Champs using 4 Pekkas n archers. 2 jumps 1 heal 3 haste. Worked well on compartment bases where you could set a clear path to the town hall with the jumps. Good for a solid 2 star the haste spells go well with Pekka given their dps and slow speed only used the rage if it was a close call.
