Anyone Thinks Dogs Aren't Worth It?

so, i've gotten my set of 8 horses and im really happy with them!! i've been thinking whether i should also buy a dog, particularly a hound (just coz i have 5 gold vouchers and can't wait to spend them all lol) but im totally not pleased that it only gives 50 xps whereas the palomino horse, which also costs 5 gold vouchers, gives 80 xps and only takes one carrot to feed! i think i made the right choice to buy horses from the start.

Personally: no.

While I agree that the xp for horses is better I do think they are worth it. It all adds up in the end because levelling is pretty slow now and it's not so much the xp but the bonus items you get. I have all pets and each wake up call gives me 5-6 items. You hardly miss the bacon or could buy I easily. At his level coins isn't that much of a problem.

thats what i would expect to come from you :D yea i agree that everything adds up in the end, so do the expansion items. except when gold vouchers are so scarce and so many are needed to buy these pets, you kinda want to pick and choose lol

When it comes to dogs I don't care about the xp/voucher or whatever. I'm a big dog lover and must have them lol. Sorry that was not a useful response. :p

I love my dogs and cats. They add to the warmth of my farm. They show up when I am working on trees and bushes, or moving things around on the farm. I don't have them for the points. I have them because I like them.

They have a huge appetite for bacon but they're absolutely worth it! Cats, on the other hand...meh :p

Seriously tho, by the time u have all the available vouchers for all the pets, ur farm will be crawling with dogs :)

Me too, but I still don't have enough golden vouchers to get all dogs and lovely tuxedo cat that I don't have.

We felt the same about the kitties :) :) :)

i went ahead and bought 2 retrievers and 1 hound lol. i think the doghouse looks good, we're lacking in blue things in the game (its mostly green and red) so it really stands out. ok thats beside the point i know haha

Yep I understand about choosing wisely and somewhere you will accumulate them. The gold vouchers are very scarce and since they are also needed for fishing now it doesn't make it easier. 2 double voucher boat events landed me 0 gold vouchers :(
