Must a defenseless base be defenseless?

Yeah i cant beat them so i decided to join them.

I have a question though whats most important for a defenseless base.

To me such a base only is really op when it reaches TH 11 and is placed in a medium clan, where the top base is at TH 9 at most.

Then why try to keep your weight so low? Especially in view of the new shield that is your attacker has to spend at least one third of the troop.

My idea is to do one piece of a defense only: 1 cannon, 1 archer, 1 motar, 1 wizard, 1 air defense, 1 x bow, 1 inferno and even 1 eagle. And I ll max them. I'll end up somewhere in the TH 8 bracket. And I sleep well not having to think about the shield.

You're not doing a defenseless then....Sounds like something between a minimax and a hybrid, but if you drop 1 xbow, 1 inferno, and the eagle, you're going to be higher than a TH8.

I have a true defenseless (only the lvl 1 cannon from tutorial) all max troops TH11, with 23/25/20 heroes, and it weights like a TH6. Trust me, it wasn't easy to get there, but it is really nice to be sitting at the bottom of the war roster map, and be able to punch all the way to the top.

xbow, inferno and eagle weigh too much for a defenseless account.

Yeah I know its like crafting a bonsai you want to do it as mini as possible. Satisfaction. Anyway I already got a cannon, a tower, a motar and and an ad. I ll stop there then.

Its just that I feel my first and foremost responsibility in a war is to take care of my opposite number. The punch upward is only a plus.

i ve also seen wars lost because people neglect the bottom parts. And wars won because there are guys who dont mind to get down and dirty.

Any good clan will clear the bottom part of the map first, and typically very quickly.
