Progression Thread

Update:

All Air Defenses maxed at lvl 7. Cannons maxed at lvl 11, one is geared up. 1 builder taking archer tower to lvl 11. After this, 3 4 more archer tower remain to be maxed.

3 mortars are maxed. One is in progress, should be done in 3 d. Two builder on gold mine and elixir collector, taking them to lvl 12, and I'll be done with collectors. One Builder is free right now.

BK has reached lvl 13. Queen still at 11. Will be taking BK to 15 then go after AQ.

Lab is busy taking Baby dragons to lvl 2. Not sure if I'd use them, but doing it anyways.

What do you guys suggest I'd do in lab next? These are my remaining troops/spells.

Barbarians at 5.
Archers at 5.
Goblins at 4.
Healer at 3.
Lightening at 5.
Healing at 5.
Jump at 1.
Minions at 2.
Witch at 1.
Lava hounds at 1.
Poison at 2.
Haste at 1.

I normally don't the stuff that's left. Don't use Pekka either, but it was long due so maxed it. Goblins, archers, barbarians, don't use them anymore. Lava hounds I do use and I'll try to upgrade. What else? I mostly do lavaloonion with Rage and haste. Minions are also on my list. Any suggestions?

PS. We don't do war anymore. So are stabilized at lvl 6. Troops that I use will be for donations and raiding.

Nice upg Logan. I would have said do Lava 2 then haste 2 but since you said you dont do wars i had suggest doing healer and healing first. They are important even if you war. You need healer 4 for AQ walk at any level so that has been my priority on my mini account.

I had also do archer 6 and jump 2. Jump 2 is big difference than jump 1. Same for haste also.

I'm staying at master 2, there is very low elexir and gold but 2.5k de + 700 bonus is 3k+ every raid, it'd not be that hard to put both heroes to upgrade if you do about 15 raid daily in master league.

11d to go to th10, I'd say leave 10 walls before starting to upgrade to th10, cz 12d is a lot of time and you can fill storages within 2ds once you don't have to spend resources on walls or defences.

Thanks for the reply and good luck with TH10 first.

I am in low crystal 1 now and i always try to go for any base with 2.5 to 3k de. Ideally i try to find dead bases but those have less DE at times. So now i have started going for active bases with bows loaded. Since i have AQ 25 ready i will do a AQ walk from 1 side then giants wiz from other. Since i hardly use DE for troops most of it is profit if i am able to get the base. At time i get all other resources but not enough DE lol.

I am using both gold and eli for walls and in no rush to finish them but will take them as they come. Currently BK is going to 26 and still 4 days to go while i have 50k de for AQ. I am trying to get to 125k for it in the next 3-4 days before the lab is free so i can put her down as after that i would require all de for lab only. Ideally i would try to stretch the royals to 27 or 28 by the time i reach Th10 but might not be possible but lets see how it goes.

Sounds like a plan. I've not tried Queen walk yet, maybe once she's lvl 15+ I'd do that. But yeah, the idea is good to put a healer or two on top of her and let her destroy the base with easy. :)

Lava hound 2 is on my list. Will be working on that. I am burning some DE as of now as LavaLoonion is my favorite attack. i always try to recover the amount of DE that I use in raid, but it's still a trade off. But by far, this is the best strategy that I have come across, and I definitely love it.

Good plan. however do the healer and healing first. They do help a lot even for farming and heal max can heal the troops for longer time so always worth that.

Yes Laloon is very addictive and it can crush bases really very fast in low golds and crystals. However as you said if you are in need of DE then its not a good for farming as u dont get enough DE out of it. During the loon and haste, it was costing a lot of DE even in masters and not worth the bonus too. Hopefully now with next even of bolaloon it might be better to use that again.

Builder 4 and 5 are free, as I am pushing for golem upgrade. My DE is 53, unfortunately, wasn't able to push it to 70K. Still pushing.

Mini Update for this week.
Started minions 4 yesterday even though i had enough for AQ 27 as didnt want to keep the lab free for any days. :).
Will put AQ down today or tomorrow morning after the 2 war attacks. BK is sitting at 26 and i think will be there for a while.
Only have 62 lv 10 walls left and i think i should be able to do it in 1-2 weeks time.
Time for TH10 soon.

My Update:
All mortars Maxed. 2nd Archer tower is lvl 11 now. Elixir collectors and mines maxed. Baby dragon is lvl 2 as well.

Lab is busy with Lava hounds lvl 1 -> 2. 9d 6h to go.
One builder in on Dark barracks lvl 5-> 6. 4d to go.
Another builder on Barracks lvl 9->lvl 10. 5d 3h remaining.

Put my 3rd builder on xbox lvl 2 -> 3.

2 are free right now. Still going strong with LavaLoonion. And planning to push for one more upgrade in a day or two. Bored of th9. Need to max soon and move on :)

I know, stats say 18 more weeks even if all builders are busy. Let's see how things go from here.

Nice upgrade bud, seems like you are achieving your goals by getting lv28 heroes before th10.

Gemmed AQ to lv29 few days ago and finally going to lv30 in about 5d.
Bk will stay at 28, don't have time to upgrade him, will work him out in th10.
AQ will stay at lv30 for few weeks cz Lab.
Lab: drag maxed , minnions going to lv2 in 2ds.
Finally the wait is getting over , going to th10 in 2d.

Hey guys....old th 9 returning player. Damn, I feel kind of behind.

Basically my goal right now is to get my troops up for a viable war army (king/queen both 11). So researching Healers to 4, then giants to 6 so I can do a decent HGHB but currently going to try HPHB since I have lvl 3 pekkas.

I am not looking forward to doing every barrack for the baby drags lol...I thought I was done with barracks

Great progress mate!!! Hard to believe you maxed out everything in 9 months!!! You must be really active. Great work with Heroes as well, you're done more or less. My max yet have been Crystal 1 where I was for few days before being thrown back to Crystal 2, lol. But then, I like crystal, so doesn't really matter.

Walls, yeah, they're a grind. I hate that, but then, you gotta do what you gotta do. :) Good luck.

Awesome!!! 2 more days!!!! What's the plan? What will you be doing first thing when you reach th10? Lab/spell factory?? Or would you try to open the mightly bowler, or miners? Too much to do when a new TH is opened. Good luck.

Welcome back!!! Good luck with catching up. It will take a while, but am sure you'd do just fine. Giants at 6 are uber cool, so are loons at 6. Do what you use most :)

Healers, haven't used them since th 7. Maybe I'd revisit them.

Not much active just doing 5-7 attacks daily for what i need( if i need elixir using GOWIVA,if need d.e using GiWiz with Queen walk.Since i was in champs from new th9 stage no shortage of gold even elixir is ok, just d.e (2.3k average) .

My max range is champs1(3921) to many th11,so dropped to champs 3 been chilling there . Finding dead bases with 600k gold and elixir,5k d.e :)

Yes BK is at 26 now and almost 50k de but will start minions 5 tomorrow. AQ is going to 26 and will finish in 4 days.
I think it easier to do the walls but i am not doing enough attacks as have been busy. But i do the war attacks without fail. Getting bored of TH9 but also nice that i dont have stress about keeping all builders busy. At the same time u them sitting idle too lol.
Yeah still the plan is for at least 28 royals but not sure i will be able to do that. Might push the update button in couple of weeks time. Around 60-70 walls left so wanting to finish that still if can. Not sure a bit confused what to do. But good that you will be TH10 in 2 days then you can share some exp for us.

Yahooo, first day at th10, did a lot of work on the first day itself.
Upgrades:
Got all new traps, got new Skel Trap to lv2.
All New walls to lv7.
Put these building under upgrade:
CC, spell factory, lab, dark barrack. i have had 1000k elixir/gold in both treasury & storages.
And got another 300k elixir on boost and that helped me put Dark barrack under upgrade.
@Nam3less, good luck with your th9 journey I was pretty bored too at th9.
Try to max Out your walls before th10.
Currently enjoying laloon with 8 hastes lots of loot and fun.

Lab upgraded and hounds underway.
3/4 Army camps started/completed - 1 still to do.
King has grown a level and is down again, nearly 24, will be going straight back down.
All new walls down and nearly caught up to max TH9 level.
Spell factory done, CC done.
Third DE drill on the way to max.
New Traps down and upgraded to TH9 level.
As you can see I bought the TH10 value pack, mainly for the gold, haven't placed the Inferno and in no hurry to do so.

Managing to max my G/E storages daily using a GiWiBarch army and no spells and a few gems to keep a builder free.

Next steps:

Final Camp
King to 30.
Valks next in Lab.
Push traps to max
Maybe start Teslas.

Currently stuck at both royals at 26 and i still think even to get them to 27 would be achievement before i move to TH10. Minions are going to 5 then just poison and eq left. I will do them before moving to TH10.

Lets how long it takes to do 50 walls now. Countdown begins. Good going for you at TH10.

Loot is pretty good to be honest, i dropped from Titans to Gold league and i am, as I said, using a pretty cheap army. Plenty dead bases, i'm looking at a minimum of 300k G/E and 2k Dark. Regularly find 400k each and 3/4 dark.

Gold seems pretty plentiful and so was masters.

Got my first Tesla upgrading now.

Gold to Crystal seems the best. Stay in gold 1 to crystal 3 range. Your royals are same as mine.

Nice progress guys. Here is where I stand right now:
2nd Dark barrack in now at lvl 6. Maxed for the level.
4th and final barrack at lvl 10.

One builder is still on xbow lvl2 -> 3. 23h remaining.
Second builder is on last Tesla lvl 4->5. 5d remaining.
third builder is on Archer tower lvl 10 -> 11. 23h remaining.
Fourth builder just started on final Wizard tower lvl 6 -> 7. 6d remaining.

Lab is still working on Lava hounds and they should be lvl 2 in 1d 2h.

One builder is free. I am not interested in maxing my barracks. I don't use baby dragons. So final builder uses the extra elixir for Walls. Have made some progress in walls, which a good change.

Wall stats:
Lego: 25
Skull: 225

Reached Crystal 1. Should put my BK for lvl 14 upgrade today or tomorrow. Or maybe minions. Confused about that, let's see.

I am still doing LavaLoonion. Have fallen in love with this. The more I am progressing, the hard I find to get 3 stars, but it's absolutely worth it. Watching the bases getting destroyed is a pleasure. And the strategy screams total domination. Loving it.

When i got to that stage, i pushed. The loot bonus in Masters/Champion/Titan was worth the hassle of finding a base to hit. I was using a very elixer heavy army comp (350k+ per attack) but crucially no dark (very little).

Since my last update i've got the king down again. All walls are now at Max TH9 level. Valks are upgraing to max.

Couple of days before my next builders free (that will be one more army camp done and max DE drill) Planning to do Dark Barracks for Bowlers and another Tesla

One builder is free. I am not interested in maxing my barracks. I don't use baby dragons. So final builder uses the extra elixir for Walls. Have made some progress in walls, which a good change.

I am still doing LavaLoonion. Have fallen in love with this. The more I am progressing, the hard I find to get 3 stars, but it's absolutely worth it. Watching the bases getting destroyed is a pleasure. And the strategy screams total domination. Loving it.

Nice going there logan. Yes laloon is awesome. I have been using it again due to the recent minion event and hovering around champs 3 for both my th9 accounts. Th9 mini is mostly th8 with all new defenses put up without the xbows.

Also lava at 2 makes big difference than lava 1. Though lava at 1 are good but 2 are better for tanking against lv7 AD's. Keep clashing :)

Good going there Ally. Yes i am doing the same though not pushing so much constantly moving up. Almost going to hit Champs 1. I am using the laloon as i said above due to the minion event and agree that the high league bonus does help. Still costing be 1200 k de every raid so i have to make sure i get at least 3k de with league bonus so i make around 2k profit.

Once the event is over i will use my giants, wiz, healer army. What eli heavy based army were you using? Can you elaborate on that?

Well my mini update for this week.
AQ put down to 27 and still 4 days to go.
BK is at 26 and will be staying there as not enough DE :).
Minions will be 5 in 13 hours and have around 45k de so need few more to put poison to lv3. Hence BK will have to wait more longer lol.
Only left with 36 lv 10 walls left and generally able to do about 2-3 walls each day using both gold and eli. So i reckon should be able to hit the upgrade button before end of this month to TH10. Hopefully i can still push another level each of BK and AQ till then.

I'm th9 with max walls, queen starting 30 today and king at 26.

Only other upgrades I have left are quake, poison and witch.

I'm thinking about going to TH10 now. I originally didn't want to until max my heroes but since finishing my walls I'm sitting on max gold for the few days. Seems such a waste to not use the gold and losing all the gold I'm grabbing in raids.

I started a trophy push on weekend and climbed from gold to champs. I've been to champs before but thought I'd see if I want to go to Titans.

What do you guys think - should I upgrade to 10 or finish my trophy push first? Not sure if upgrading to TH10 will affect availability of cups during my push. If I hit 10 I will just upgrade to spend the gold I'm holding. Don't intend to start properly upgrading TH10 until my king is closer to 30.

As you dont participate in war, i would say you can go hit the upgrade button for TH10. Though i dont know much about the bases up high than champs 2 but i do reckon that once you hit TH10 you will see more TH10 bases to attack than now. Obviously you would also be given TH9 too but then you would have loot penalty for those.

Having said go ahead and upgrade and if you cant find good bases to attack you can always go down to gold or crystal league. If you were warring then i would have said get witch to 2 and then upg to th10 and then time your spells upg so that when you finish lab in Th10 the spells are done too.

I am thinking i will go down your route too of upgrading AQ first then doing BK. Up until lv 26 i was always upg the BK first then AQ since that gave me AQ to play for farming. But now i have her going on to 27 and might just stretch her to 30.

I've always found AQ to be more useful for raising and more fun so I've upgraded her as priority.

I'm going to hold off TH10 for a little bit as my clan mate and I are doing a friendly race to Titans. I'm th9 and he is th11. He has given me a 500 trophy head start. I'm in champs 3 and he is in masters 1.

If your pushing then maybe no cz as a th10 you will have to deal with IT even in crystal 3, while you will start seeing th10 in master 1 to champ 3 as a th9.
Nevertheless The plus is that you can get another spell in the first week of th10 and that would help in pushing.

2 army camps are upgrading, going to upgrade the third army camp today.

Traps: upgraded giant bomb, air bomb to th9 lv.

New walls: all lv9 with 6 at lv10.

New troops: the evil bowlers unlocked, its amazing, got high 90% 2* against a major th10 base in war today.
Miners unlocking in an hour, just in about time as the event is coming.

Lab: valks going to max in 5d. Next upgrade will be miners to lv2>>lv3.

I've almost reached champs 1 using Babyloon strategy. Still racing to Titans and I'm currently in the lead ahead of a Th11 and TH10 in my clan. I've started to come across quite a few th11 now so this strategy is still working to get me 60% 1 star.

nice upgrades there. Might follow the same way you have done. So you havent put any new TH10 defenses is it? I will go 9.5 too initially without the IT and the 3rd bow. Cant wait to get bowlers unlocked. Seems miners are not bad either. :)

Could you please give your army details. I generally use laloon and it can crush bases or at least get high 1* or 2* but then since i have only few levels of royals left i dont want to waste too much de. My Clan leader suggested using gowipe but even that would be cost around 1500 de each raid. He asked me to jump to Champ for the loot bonus. Still feel air attacks are better as many times a lot of bows are set to ground.

So BK is still at 26 and AQ at 27. I have done a lot of walls and now just 26 walls left.
Poison will be lv 3 in 1 days time and then only eq3 will be left in lab. TH9 journey looked so long but happy to have almost done it and ready to grind for TH10. Lol.

Currently sitting on 90k de and thinking of starting BK 27 or AQ 28 in 2 days time. Will hold the EQ updated for few more days till i get some more lv10 walls done.

Plan is still to finish all walls then start the th10 update as i want to go there with max gold and max eli when TH10 upgrade is complete. Still few weeks to go.

That will be me finished with Teslas when those 3 complete - will be doing Giant Bombs > Seeking Air Mines > Spring Traps. Still not dropped any new defences/upgraded any defences - only traps.

Also managed to do 16 level 11 walls with extra resources.

If you dont mind, i will also show you my progress i have done so far in th9.
I arrived th9 4 days ago, but i gemmed the last day because i couldnt wait. As for th8, i was maxed out on everything, all my walls were lv8, the only thing that wasnt maxed were my minions which were level 3.
Right when i went th9, i bought all the new stuff (except xbows), i bought the aq, etc. (btw i had full storages when i reached th9)
I immediately put the laboratory, spell factory, clan castle in upgrade and the queen to lvl 2 (i have 4 builders).
Today, my lab finished and i put barbs in upgrade, while my queen was again down, cuz i put it to lvl 3. The cc wants a couple more hours to finish, so i think im pretty good rn. I also have an army camp in upgrade cuz queen finished.
And i aint planning to buy xbows until my queen is level 10-15, so im kinda a 8.5, cuz i aint upgrading the defense too

Hi there sorry for late reply.

My army comp is 16 baby drags, 10 loons, 5 wallbreakers and I hav both heroes up. Spells: 2 lightning, 1 quake (mine is lv3), 1 rage, 2 haste. CC I take either minions, baby drags or loons and 1 more haste.

I've hit 3921 cups and started TH10 as I'll have reached Titans as a th9 by that time

Well i am having a mixed feeling as of now. Half frustrated and want it to finish and the other half of me want it to be delayed too so that i can work out the royals. So its catch 50 situation lol.

I am holding off the last eq up later today and i have around 102k de so and would have gotten another 10k if we win the war but the other clan is highly eng...and we wont win it. They had miner lv 2 even on their 10th position. 1 th8, 5 th9 and rest all th10 to th11. upg spells and miner lv2 against us who are 2 th10, 10 th9, 1 th7 and rest th8. Lol talk about mismatch but anyway COC wont do anything.

So will have to grind more de today. :).

Wlc to the thread and please post your progress in this thread. Absolutely welcome more people to post their experience in this thread and the more users post the better for the new ones to follow. There are different ways of going ahead in Th9, so all kind of experiences help.

Thats a good upgrade you have and very sorted. Keep doing the eli upgrades as much as you can and dump gold in walls. On my mini Th9 i have gone completely different route than my main one. Finished my war troops basically laloon with all required spells max for Th9 like haste etc. And also doing a lot of defenses. Have put all new def except the bows. Now i am doing walls and will work on the royals again. I kept bk at 10 and aq at 10 for a long time and now have started upgrading them. I might rush this account to Th10.

But on my main i cant wait to get to TH10.

Thanks will give this a try and see how it goes. Whats your strategy for attacking? Obviously you are zapping 1 AD. Then do you release loons first or baby drags. I m thinking you dont got for 2* is it?

I zap 1 AD then use 1 /2 baby drag to tank while I haste in 3loons to outer archer towers and any other defenders they take out. I have been using my heroes as well and it's usually 1-star attacks with around 60%

Btw I hit Titans and beat my clan mates to it 😎 So I beat a th11 and a TH10! Very happy with that. I reached 4107 and was shattered that night. I bought a 1wk shield so haven't been raiding since then! Needed a break lol

TH10 will be done in abt 6days so deciding what to do first. I'm not going to be farming hardcore but I want to try miners and bowlers.

Any suggestions? It wil be mainly offense anyway rather than defense. I will however to ADs.

I'm not dropping infernos straight away but wil see how it goes. War weight doesn't bother me neither does war attacks as I don't really war.

I'm also thinking I might try stay in Titans for loot bonus but need to find efficient way of staying here as Babyloon is not getting me enough loot especially as it's an expensive elixir army.

Congrats on hitting Titans and beating your clan mate. I am still moving slowly in Champs 2. Just 13 walls remaining for TH9 and i have started my eq upg in lab which was the final one. So i reckon within a week i should hit TH10 upgrade.

Regarding upgrades in TH10, yes always do offense than defense. Also i generally like to get all the eli buildings done first.

It would be for me army camp, both labs, clan castle and then depending on eli will do all the barracks. Once those are out then i will slowly start the defense. Now with Th10 each upgrade will cost a lot so that itself i feel will take few days. This is what i will plan to do when i hit TH10. Mostly my eli and gold resources would be max as i wont be needing it for TH9 when i decide to hit the upg button.

You can do all miners or all bowlers depending on which resources you need.

3/4 of my Tesla are now max for TH, all giant bombs done and i've started on Seeking Air mines.

Thoughts?

I always think of adding new defense except those which add war weight like mortar, wiz tower, bows, bomb tower or infernos. You can add the cannon, AT and leave the rest as it is for now.

Do you play BB? I pushed to 3k trophies to get the gems which allowed me to finish my TH the minute i filled my storage's and wasn't wasting time.

We've just hit a bit of luck as a clan, managed to hit 3 farming clans back to back - between 1.2 and 1.8 million G+ E and 7/8k dark per war for minimum output (1 proper attack and 1 loot attack).

Just 3 walls left now. I think should be done by monday and then probably mid to late next week hitting the upgrade button. I will max gold and then hit so perhaps i can delay it further maybe 1-2 days. AQ will be put to 28 before the hitting update.

Yes i do play BB on both accounts and have gone as high as 2600 cups i think and currently around 2300-2400. I have started using night witches with 3 giants and BM 5. I rushed BM to lv 5 and ignored all troops. Slowly working on the troops now. I am at BH6 and currently upg all defense. I just the daily loot and sometimes 1-2 attacks more to test out new troops. Its a good distraction from main game while you are cooking the troops or royals are healing.

Nice. We had good last 3 wars too where we won. Being in top 2 i get almost 1 million G and E and around 7-8k of DE. However now we are paired with an Eng clan. so lets see how that turns out.

done with the walls. All fully maxed now except the royals both at 27 still. Lab in 23 hours.

Almost 3m gold and 2m eli and still shy of 10k de for AQ. Seems i may have to hit the TH10 button by tomorrow.

All the seeking air mines are finished and i've now got all my traps on/upgraded to max. Also managed to finally Gear up my Cannon and make some more inroads to walls - Now on 43 lvl11s.

The baby dragon event was a great success for me so i had to gem my Lab (I was upgrading Bowlers) i'd filled my elixer storages and didn't know when i'd next have a surplus so i've put on Wizards as i use them to raid and in my war comps. Also managed to farm 78k Dark since my king went down.

Current upgrades:
Spring Trap: 1d
Archer Tower: lvl7 - 1d
Spring Trap: 1d 13h
Spring Trap: 2d 13h
Barb King: 5d 23 > going to 28.

Plan this week is to keep that archer tower down and more than likely get a barracks down (unlocking miners), King will be going straight back down and most likely drop the new Cannon and get that up to speed.

oh i'd love the 1 gem boosts... The Value Pack has thrown a spanner in my upgrade plans. This week's now going to be very expensive upgrades since i have resources i usually won't have had.

haha i hope that 1 gem boost is delayed as much as it can be. I somehow got maxed out with every thing except the royals. Anyway now no option but to get when the resources are full. Currently i am just climbing up in masters 1 and trying to see if i can break it to champions for that 1k gem.

Currently i m using 14 baby and 14 loons and rest archer and minions. Dont want to waste DE at all. Any other heavy de army you suggest?

At TH9 BabyLoon is one of the most effective Elixer only armies. DragLoon also but i prefer the babies. Baby Loon should be enough to get you to Champs, just hit that next button until you find something which you know you can beat.

Agreed baby loon is very effective but it normally gets you 1/3 rd of trophy. I have started to alternate between laloon and baby loon. But still around 200 cups afar from Champions. Also might not get too many attacks today and tomorrow. Still pushing.

Haha good spend you have. My gold is almost going max and while exi is around 6m. Thinking to gem or not as its 1.1k gem lol.

Finally after 2 days of max storage, i hit Champions and got the gems and then gemmed the TH10 and spell factory.

AQ is going to 28. Have put all new walls to pink. Have also got the new cannon, archer Tower and traps set up. Wont be putting any more new defenses now.

1 on Lab
1 on AQ 28 will be free tomorrow
1 on DE drill More or less this one will be on DE drill till its max depending on Eli.
1 will be used for walls and smaller upgrades.

Wow the requirements for Eli in early TH10 is mental. Currently in Champs and if not good will drop down to crystal.

Archer Tower lvls 7 & 8.
Cannon from new to lvl 7.
2 Barracks to level 12 - unlocking Miners.
Built the new XBow.
Put my second Dark Barracks down to max
Gemmed my King and put him straight back down - will be 30 when he wakes in 3 days.
Put my 2 level 3 XBows on for level 4
17 Level 11 walls.

Definitely been busy, Ally. Since I've just got my x-bows & bomb tower to go before I'm maxed defensively, all my gold & elixir has been going toward walls. My "builders" have been sitting idle which is bothersome, but I've only got 62 walls to go before they're all L9!

Barb King wakes - 1d 9h at L14 and I'll war once before putting him back down.

I'm sitting fairly high in Champs II right now and thoroughly enjoying the league bonus, but part of me wonders if I should drop to Crystal since there are so many more dead bases.

AQ will be up in few hours time and i am thinking of putting her down to 29 or BK to 28. Currently Lab still has 5 days to go so i will hold lava 3 until then.

I am using a combination gibarch+gobs with spells. Not using spells all the time but when used its still costing me 220k eli. So trying to figure out if i should switch to my fav all archers army. Sitting at 4m eli and mostly will unlock bowler rather than doing 1 army camp.

Just dropped to Crystal I (not sure if I'll go down to II yet). Trying to finish off my Lv9 walls as quickly as I can to start on Lv10 and these inactive bases will be perfect to help me get there.

Gemmed the last bit of my Barb King Lv14 for war and after my attacks put him right back to sleep. He'll wake up in 5d 12h as Lv15 and I'll be halfway to max with both heroes.

Well if you war always try to have 1 war troop ready in the initial stages. ON my mini Th9 i have upgraded most spells except lighting to 6 and then drag 4, lava 2, loons 6. With this i know i will have great chance of going air only attacks. So my golem, valks and hogs are at th8 max. Slowly i will upg them. However golem 4, valks 4 and hogs 4 is huge upg in th9.

Mini update.
Aq is going to 29.
Lab will finish in 3 days time and mostly will start lava 3 as my 1st Th10 upg.
Have started 1 barrack for bowler so 10 days to go.
CC will be finished in 6 days time too.
All new walls are lv 7 and some lv 8.

Currently just farming in crystal trying to not spend too much eli on it since initial plan is to upg at least 1 army camp in next 2-3 days.
in the meanwhile have been upg the new traps, cannon and AT as and when have resources.

Yeah, that's why I maxed my laloon troops early... I was already a confident air attacker. All my troops are already maxed except the valks, golems, and witches. Started the golem upgrade yesterday so they're headed to lv2 now and I may max them before starting on my heroes again because I'm in no rush to head to TH10.

Nice progress. Had a quiet game time to over the weekend.

Halted both new cannons and AT to 5 for now and have started 1st Tesla 8 upg.
AQ will be 29 in 2 days and i think there would be few days break for upg the royals as i have started lava 3 yesterday in lab and plan is to do bowlers to 2 after that.
So no builder free for next 2 days unless both AQ and CC builder is free. Will try to farm some gold to make all walls to lv 8. Currently still 15 new walls at lv7.
New DE drill being upg to lv 2 and mostly will keep it upg till lv 6 depending on the eli.

All elixir will be used now for farming, de drill and army camp.

Its a little easier farming since i came as max th9 and 27+ royals.

AQ is up 29 and have started 1st army camp upg. All new walls are now lv 8.

Golem Lv2 finished almost a day ago and I immediately started the upgrade for Lv3.

Luckily I farmed enough before and after starting the Lv3 golems that I could put my AQ down last night for 16. Also, only 2 more Lv8 walls left!

Bit of an update: All of my upgrades in the previous one are now finished.

Well this is a cool thread. I've got 2 accounts. A TH11 and a TH9.

My TH9 is an 8.5 for now. Every troop and spell in lab is done. I've got about 42 lvl 10 walls done. The rest are all lvl 9. Heroes are lvl 12/11. Will get them to maybe lvl 20 and then start upgrading defenses. I war non stop with this acc, never with the TH11.

Welcome to the thread Ray. Isnt TH11 more fun to war with especially if you are much higher. I didnt try much war attacks as TH9 except laloon thats because most of the time i needed max bowlers in CC for any ground attacks and only 2 of our clan members had it and i had to wait for hours for them. I know there are some war army which can be used to without bowlers but i feel with bowlers they are quite good. Also most of the time my AQ was upg.

Having unlocked bowlers at th10 i find them fun to use gobolaloon. I havent tried others yet as bowler just got unlocked 2-3 days before, so will wait and see how it goes.

Mini update. AQ will get up in 3 days at 30. Will get most new walls to lv9 today i think. As most of my other builders will be free in 3-4 days i might hold 1 free for walls.

Bowlers 2 will be started once lava 3 is done in 3 days time. Currently at 80k de and should be no issues going for the rest till lab is free. Also saving more elixir so that i can start upg the 3rd army camp.

Since my last little update i've finished the cannon to 10, AQ to 32 and AT to 10 and also the Barracks to max.

I've not been on as much as normal recently for various reasons but still making pretty steady progress.

At the moment I have Giants on in lab 6 to 7. 8d 5h.

X-Bow 2 > 3: 3d 8h
Archer Tower 10 > 11: 4d 8h
Archer Queen 32 > 33: 4d 8h
Barracks to max 9d 9h

That will be me max in terms of Barracks and Dark Barracks allowing me to focus Elixer on Walls and Lab only and maybe spend a bit more to raid instead of my 155k Elixer army which i currently use.

76 Level 11 walls. 6 birthday cakes and a max Battle Machine on the BB.

Not sure where to go from here as once the Cannon and Archer Towers are done they're caught up with the rest of my defences. Might do Air Defences next, or Maybe the Archer Towers. Either way, things are ticking along nicely and i've resisted the urge to drop the inferno tower :)

Thanks man and i haven't been in war not once with my TH11 because I've been upgrading the GW non stop. He's going to lvl 18 now, just placed him, never even used him! And I upgrade my king and queen any chance I get. I will war whenever I get my heroes to max.

My TH11 is more like a TH10.5 but I'm thinking of placing the eagle and 4th xbow soon, because...why not? I completely maxed out TH10 and I will be doing the same with my TH11. Obviously. It's more fun this way. Wars can be boring at times and I enjoy it more with my TH9, I hated wars when I was TH10. Too unbalanced.

Nice job; takes commitment to place a hero and not use him till max. I like war to much to do that.

Good progress both Ally & Nam3less; almost makes me excited about the future jump to 10. Almost. Slow going since I'm putting all elixir & gold into my walls only and just using DE for lab & heroes. Golem Lv3 finished a day ago and I immediately started my Poison to Lv2. Once I get enough DE I'll put both Heroes back down; King wakes in less than 2 days, but I'm going to gem him for war and to farm before AQ goes back to sleep.

Yea it does take commitment but once you have a maxed out hero, you will finally be able to attack with full strength. I hated it when I maybe got a low percentage 1 star or high percentage 2 star in war and knowing that I could've gotten a 3 star if I had max heroes. You can still get 3 stars with low heroes but the chances are slimmer, depending on the base layout. Some base layouts are terrible.

Im trying to upgrade my heroes on my TH9 non stop but I don't play with it enough to do that. Luckily the clan I'm in allows me to be in wars even if I'm uograding heroes. I guess because I'm on the last of the roster list. Since I'm a .5. Gotta update my signature, got more walls done!

My Monday update: Been a fairly busy week, 2 war wins definitely helping.

The only upgrades which are still going are the Barracks and Giants, the rest all completed this week and the builders are busy again. I Gemmed my queen last night to skip 2 days and have her for war.

Air defence: 7>8: 7d 6h

I have my royals available for wars and suddenly my attacks have been much better lol. In the past i used to Laloon as Th9 and mostly have my AQ upgrading. We have a cool clan where we can war even if the heroes are upg. Though clan is somewhat dying due to many users not being active anymore. Well now that i have the royals i have been able to 3* Mid Th10 and obviously TH9. I still have only TH9 troops except lava 3. But so far quite enjoying the TH10 journey.

And again i think this game is a lot different with very high level of royals.

I have started the final army camp last night so currently have 2 camps done while 2 will finish sometime next week. I only have 17 Th9 walls and will keep dumping walls there till i make all of them lv 10.

Bowlers is being upgraded and still 7 days to go and if i dont up my BK in next couple of days then i am doing another dark troop. Valk or golem or hogs. Would like to start doing another dark barrack so that i am done with it in 12 days time. Hopefully will put it down this week.

Once thats done then i will start doing the normal barrack 1 by 1. So far good upgrades :).

To be honest there is no secret, I don't use any dark for raiding and I am very active in terms of raiding. I probably average 40k Dark per day in terms of raiding - I was off work yesterday and raked in 71k...

Hi, I want to share my progressions with you guys. I'm kinda of a rushed TH10, with 17/15 heroes and 80/275 magma walls.

My current plan is to do almost every single DE Lab upgrade (Bowlers/Hounds/Golem/Valks/Minions already done), a couple of gold upgrades, and then I'll start pouring gold into walls, elixir into Lab and DE into heroes.

So far I've built all new TH10 defenses (no Infernos) and traps (up to TH10 max, including Teslas), and almost brought them to TH9 level.

Builder #1: 3rd X-Bow, lvl 1.
Builder #2: 2nd Bomb Tower, lvl 2.
Builder #3: 3rd DE Drill, lvl 6.
Builder #4: Upgrading new walls to lvl 8.
Builder #5: Still racking up gems for that, lol.
Lab upgrade: Poison spell, lvl 4.

Any tips/advices are absolutely welcome!

Firstly welcome to the thread and good going. Yes getting the 5th builder early is helpful however Th10 lab time is almost a year and you will be done with builder time much before that as long as you keep all them of busy. Anyway try doing some achievements to get the gems. There is a 250 gem event going on and maybe you can try to push to Champions.

Keep the lab going as you have to do some catching up on troops and heroes.

Same as you i dont use DE for raiding too and i am active too on weekdays. Weekends i cant do much farming. Wow 71k DE is insane.

My Lab will be free next monday and i will do another DE upgrade mostly valks and currently sitting on 150DE and thinking of putting down BK to 28 but wanted to use for war. Might just put it down and manage without BK. Will start 2nd dark barrack too.

Hi! I forgot to ask a question yesterday: are lvl 6 Hogs worth upgrading? Are they any good in TH10 vs TH10 war attacks?

The thing is I'm prioritizing DE Lab upgrades first (Hogs, EQ, Haste and Skeleton spells are the only ones left), so I could pour all my DE later into heroes. If they're good enough (I'll be thankful if you mind sharing some Hogs strategies), I may upgrade them as soon as my Poison Spell upgrade is done.

Trying doing haste first. I am not sure if you are laloon or air troops fan but haste helps a lot in those kind of attacks. Regarding hogs many here would say that in Th10 GoHo or Govaho is popular however i havent used hogs since early TH9. EQ can be done last, dont waste DE on it for now. You can go haste, hogs and skellies. Having said that i would recommend you to not ignore the royals. They are a different beast from 25 or even lv 20 onwards. At 30 AQ is survives a long time. And most royals will take 1 week upg time so i think you can time your upgrades in such a way that you are upg at least 1 royal a week and do DE lab simultaneously.

TL;DR, do 1 royal a week heck even 2 till they are lv20.

Main base update: I don't think I've posted since starting the poison upgrade... So, poison Lv2 finished and both heroes woke up Lv16. Unfortunately, I had just enough DE to put my AQ back to sleep after war, but my lab is sitting idle since all my other research is done except for dark troops.

I haven't been farming as actively on this base as I actually have a mini. Need to really push for DE so I can get my BK back to sleep too. 28 lava walls done so far.

Mini base update: My mini is a TH8 at the moment that I'm converting from a defenseless... Point defenses only atm, but probably eventually add all later on. On there I'm intentionally rushing certain aspects and I'm itching to push the TH button for 9. Maxed troops here are barbs, arch, loons, wiz, drags in the lab, rage spell, and I've unlocked both dark spells. I'm trying to wait until my minions are maxed to move to TH9 so I can have my maxed laloonion ASAP. Not sure I'll keep waiting though because DE should be easier to get as a TH9.

Small update time!

First and foremost, I dropped trophies from Crystal 1 to Gold 2, and from what I've seen, the loot is quite good here (300k/300k/2.5k average).

I've changed my base a little bit, so I can protect my DE more efficiently. Currently my walls are: 25 lv. 8, 169 lv. 9 and 81 lv. 10.

And lastly, I went back to upgrade my heroes, haven't been doing that for a long time. BK (17>18) going straight to 20, then it'll be Queen's turn (15).

I have reached a fairly significant milestone though as i now have 93 Level 11 walls and 182 Level 10s so I am officially one third done!

Woohoo.

I'll have a level 35 AQ this time next week and be able to say cheerio to my king for 5 weeks.

Solid Progress again Nam3less.

Good luck looking for a clan, we require both heroes for war or you'd be welcome with us! I miss warring when I have heroes down but it does give such a disadvantage I can see why the majority of clans want all heroes.

Actually, yes - the clan Auburn United has a sister clan named BODDA GETTA that functions as their heroes down/event clan. As far as I know they're pretty chill and still high level. I'd war there myself, but I run my clan and can't leave just to keep warring when mine are down.

Small update as well, got my AQ up at Lv17 and put her down again for Lv18. Also, I now have almost 50 Lv10 walls finished. One AQ gets to Lv20 I'll start 1 of my x-bows to Lv3.

My upgrade progression:

TH11 - I was in doubt about adding the 4th xbow and eagle but then I thought, I'm never in wars! Don't like them, too stressful. So I added the xbow and not the eagle, not yet. Currently upgrading:
2 AD to lvl 9
1 xbow to lvl 2
1 Inferno to lvl 4
GW to lvl 19 (almost maxed!!)
Minion to lvl 7. I'm done with all DE troops in lab! Now to start with DE spells, Poison and Skeleton.

TH9 - I'm currently only upgrading my heroes to lvl 13 and 12. Still haven't started uograding defenses. Got 68/250 lvl 10 walls so far! I do war with this account.

I'm excited to finally be able to use the GW, I've never tried him! Maybe I'll war once I have him. We'll see.....

Edit. Forgot to mention the Builder Base. BH5 almost maxed. All I need are lvl 5 walls and Cannon cart to lvl 10.
