I've been enjoying this thread. I'm about a month away from TH9 in lab time, but I've got all defenses maxed and about 195 purple walls to send to skulls. For now, I'm enjoying war, but I'm real excited to get to TH9 and unlock all the new stuff, especially since we just got our first TH10 in the clan who recently upgraded from TH9, so I'll be able to use bowlers in the CC now.
Nice updates :). Go the DE troops. Golems at 3 are very tanky and i cant wait for them to be at 4 as i have already seen that Golem at 4 last quite long. After that i will push Valks to 4 as they are already quite handy at 3. Then would be hounds to 2. I have stopped BK at 12 and wont be updating him for a while unless i have enough DE if both lab and AQ would be busy. AQ at 9 survives a bit longer and i would start lv 10 by tomorrow. I have 41k DE today but no builder free until tomorrow and i want to use her in the war today so perfect timing.Quote:

I have started canon to lv 11 and plan is to do all 4 in the coming week since it wont be needed with drag event starting tomorrow.
Enjoy your time at TH8 while you have a lot of eli at your displosal. Early TH9 like all new TH is hard as you need a lot of Eli for your upgrades. We have only 1 very rushed TH10 who wont unlock bowler yet as its too expensive lol. Wish we could get that.Quote:

Still working on to get my DE drill to lvl 5, not enough elixir. Tonight or maybe early tomorrow, I'd get that. 3 of my cannons are 11. 1 archer is 11. 2 wizards are maxed too, and all teslas, so am mostly covered from defense aspect. Just need to work on walls, and once all skull, will move to defenses again. Good luck.
I did the DE spells to lv2 when i had no use of DE while at TH8 as my BK was long maxed and most DE troops too. I guess upgrading spells last more longer. I cant be sure on that. Though max heals stays on for quite a long time.Quote:

Wow. Sounds good. Haven't been the case with me. Let's say I've been slightly rushed. And my BK wasn't maxed before I upgraded. Troops were maxed though. Except healer and minions which I use rarely. Great work with walls. I am trying to work with them, and it's boring as hell. :(Quote:

A week of almost nothing, except walls. My clan has sort of died. All the core members, I was so proud of, are not active anymore. This forces me to either recruit new people or to use the ones I've, which mostly leads to us either not having wars, or losing wars. Don't know how all 6 of them are suddenly busy, but they're.
I've got my wizards to lvl 6, which is amazing. My DE drill will be lvl 5 in 1d some hours. And I've just put my valks to upgrade - lvl 2 -> lvl 3. :) Getting so much DE and then spending it on one troop feels so unfair to me. :(
And then there are always options, and distractions. Like BK and AQ, who look at me with hope that I'd upgrade them as soon as my storage has enough DE, and then I playfully ignore them and upgrade something else. :p
They'd get their dues soon. Hopefully.
I've been working on walls, and am hating that - but below are the stats:
Skulls - 140
Purple - 110
Yeah, better than earlier for sure, and have reduced no. of raids that used to happen when I am sitting on top of some 50k+ DE. Maybe by next week, I'd complete the circumference of my entire base. And then will be left with only the second layer of walls.
Let's see.

Great going! Which league are you farming DE in? I pushed a little trying to get that champ badge, and I found masters as a sweet spot for DE. Currently at 3060, and Master 1 is amazing for DE!Quote:

The master 1 bonus is great for farming walls too. Currently at 35 lavas, doing 2 a day without even looking for gold/lix.
