Progression Thread

Nice progress Logan and Adi too :).

My BK is put to 12 as i have read here that stats at 12 change for BK. So queen stayed at 8 for now. I put golem to 3 now and then just need to make it to 4 and valks to 4 as hogs is already at 5. I think that would do for me for DE troops for sometime unless i decide to get hounds to 2.

My DE storage will be maxed in 4 days time as i had lot of eli and didnt want to do another de upg till boost was finished.

1 Builder working on 2nd tesla max and still 4 days to go. Might put the 3rd one down too if have enough gold. New Tesla is at lv3.

Since i had put down both x-bows to 1 and now i have started upping the defense and working on new def first.

However after reading Logans post i am tempted to put giants in now after golem finishes in 7 days time. I was thinking of doing loons but think better to do the giants. Heal spells is maxed. Tempted between giants, healers and loons lets see.

Gobs are 3 but i have started a bit of gob knife but i feel in gold 3-1 they are not much helpful as taking all arch gives me more loot. Gold and Eli flowing at low levels than DE.

Do giants first.They help a lot in raids.Then go for healers or wizards.I just finished Lv6 Giants research today.Started Wizards Lv6 one.Queen going to Lv7.One army camp done.3d left for 2nd one.I will upgrade drills as soon as the 1 gem boost event is finished.Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice. I am going for Giants when golem 3 is up in 6 days time. Giants will be first. Also max heals helps a lot. Sometimes 1 level up troops or spells works wonders. And have heard they make massive difference to giants at 6 same as wiz from 4 to 5. I might hold on to wiz. Might do healer or loons next.

I am going to put 1 de to lv 6 today couple of hours before the gem boost. I was about to put AQ down at 9 but since there would be a gem boost for them i thought let me wait couple of days for it.

For now i think i am ok with war troops with golem at 3, valks 3, hogs at 5. We had a bad loses in clan wars and hence our push to lv 10 clan got delayed. We are winning the latest one quite easily and will surely get to lv 10 in 2 days so that will help with clan donations and better troops for all.

Lvl 10, wow!!!! Sounds great man. Yeah, troop upgrade when donated is a huge boost. We've just reached 5, and it helps a lot. Everyone is happy. Plus, now even th8s can help us. Earlier we needed to wait for some th9 to come and donate, now th8s can pitch in too. Ofcourse, that's from perspective of wars. For raids, I don't worry about higher levels. Any thing that is given works just fine. ;)

For lvl 6, the troops with massive stats change are loons and giants, hence I have done both. Priority can vary from person to person. I do more of air attacks in war, so went for loons first. And now that I've my war taken care of, I've taken giants to next level. Next will be wizards, as recently I've started using either all hogs or GoWiHo in wars. So, an additional level of wizards will definitely help.

Haha. Goblins are cute and can work wonders, if provided with proper shield. Lvl 3 goblins are kinda weak, but do pretty well as well. Mine are 4, I am tempted to take them to 6, maybe after everything else is done. Once 5, I might start trying goblins knife.

Nice work with the King. What kind of stats change are you referring to at lvl 12? I've never heard about that. My king will be 10 soon, and I am happy. Next I'd try to take queen to 10. My DE troops are not all done yet. Hogs are maxed, valks will be 2 soon, and golems are sitting at 3. I find these to be sufficient, but then you never know what a new war might bring.

Wow, those xbows are pretty hard core when it comes to shooting the raiders or attackers. There attack speed is huge, and that does a lot of destruction. Good luck for defenses. I am stuck with walls. Once all skulls, might think about concentrating on defenses.

This is the post somewhere on the forum. Extremely sorry cant remember the poster so cant give credit.

I did some maths on the optimal levels to leave your BK and AQ (I'm at work so I can't upload that right now.) I looked at the number of hits to completely clear a MAX TH9 base, and how each level corresponded with the level before. There are some levels where the number of hits only went down by less than 5. (Also did the same with TH10, and got similar results.)
From my maths, the AQ grows pretty evenly at each level but the BK has huge jumps at a few levels. The levels are 7, 12, 16, 21, 27. These are the levels you want to stop your BK at. The AQ optimal levels are 6, 11, 17, 21, 25.
Also, I think your BK should always be at a higher level than your AQ. Reasoning is the longer your BK stays alive, the more damage the AQ can dish out.
So from this maths, I would do:
King to 12, AQ to 11
King to 16, AQ to 17
King to 21, AQ to 21
King to 27, AQ to 25

i might change now the next upg to loons instead of giants as i think this will be good for air attacks with lvl 1 hound. Then next would be giants as it would help for farming for now not so much war. I will hold on gobs for now. I have already raked up 45k de and thinking whether i should do another de troops in 3 days time or work on AQ to 10. Might just finish AQ lol. Decisions. X-bows help a lot for defense so kinda happy i put them and learning the trades for war due to that as i am constanly either 2 or 3 in war setups :)
