Progression Thread

Long Over due update post.

I have finally got the black giants and have started drags to 4. As i am constantly in top 2-5 position and get mirrors with higher X-bows i have started my 1st to lv2.

My new tesla will be lv4 tonight might start lv5 asap.
2 DB will be unlocked for witches in few days and i might start the last upgrade for hounds too.
2 Barrack will be opened in couple of days and also thinking of getting the 3rd one started.
BK is on for 13 now and will be finished in 2 days. AQ is at 10. I am going against the tides. As i love the AQ and cant have it down most of the time i am thinking of getting the BK up to 15 first. I have noticed that tanky BK really helps a lot when paired with lv10 AQ. So i might alternate and get the upg going. I wont be upg them at same time unless i have enough DE.

I still cant 3* the war bases and i have to get the valks to 4 for that. Hogs are at 5 but i sucked once for GoHog. It will horribly wrong. Also farming in Crystal now and somehow my all arch doesnt work as i dont find many dead bases and need full troops which end up costing at least 200k eli. I tend to hit base with 300+ eli and with bonus get around 150k plus.

As Soul suggested and even my clan leader who has worse defense and heroes than me at TH9 suggested moving to masters to i might just keep pushing with full army for next few days see how it goes. If that helps me with DE resources then why not. I might just keep upgrading those as i wont have much use for Eli except lab troops.

I'd suggest you get your lava hound up, then haste. Lavaloon based strategies are great for both pushing/farming AND war.

The master 1 bonus is great for farming walls too. Currently at 35 lavas, doing 2 a day without even looking for gold/lix.

I have been mostly farming in Gold 2. However, I am in Crystal 3 now, and will be pushing further. I need a lot of DE and if every star gets me a good amount of DE in Crystal, then crystal it is.

Wow, champion sounds awesome. my max has been Crystal 2 I believe. I found it way too hard to stay there, but then I was th8 at that time. Not that I am much advanced now, so am sure I'd be thrashed :D

I haven't opened hounds yet, and am not planning to open them till I am done with Lab for all the troops. Once that happens, I'd open hounds and witch and then see how things go. I really want to try lava loons. Guess I'd have to wait a while for that.

Go for Dragons. Lvl 4 dragons are great if you use air attack. And great work with troops. You're going at a much faster rate then I am. Awesome.

Update 24-Jan-17
BK is put down for lv14, AQ is at 11. Will upg her today or tomorrow once enough DE.
Final Dark Barrack finishing tomorrow - will start another 3rd Barrack tomorrow.
New and Last Tesla will be lv5 tonight so thinking of either starting tesla lv 6 or aq
1 X-bows is at lv 2 and another being upg and will finish in 7-8 days time
BK14 - will finish in 4 days
AD 7 will finish in 7 days too. New one is still at 3.

Currently farming in Crystal 1. My highest i have pushed and trying to push to Masters by tomorrow. Good farming with full eli troops and Queen walk and the bonus is worth it.

For Lab - Drag finished at 4 and i have started loon to 6 and will finish in 8 days. Most probably will start hounds to 2 even though valks 4 and golem 4 is remaining. Laloonian is strong even with my lv 1 lava and lv5 loon and minions at 3.

118 - Lv 8 walls
132 - Lv 9 walls

Quick update 06-Feb-17.

Good lunar new year holiday week and got a lot of farming done in Masters and Crystal.

Current Progress.
BK is 15 now
AQ at 12
Valks 4 and have started lava to 2
Skulls - 70
Level 9 - 180
Both X-bows at lv2
All teslas are maxed
1 AD max and new one at lv4 now
Last Barrack is being upgraded and will finish in 5 days. With that all Eli buildings are done finally.

Currently upgrading traps and bombs and then will slowly start maxing the defense.
Will start upg AQ now till she is 15. Then will see how to progress with heroes.

For wars i can do 2* only and i believe with valks 4 i might be able to do higher % 2*. Will check the valks 4 today and see how it goes.

P.S. This thread has been quite lately. Logan where are you :).

Haven't got much time, with the wars and base designing, so progression is slow. Still doing(or trying) to do two walls a day and I'm now at 51 lavas! Meanwhile, put Queen down to 20. Finished a few days ago. Now I've put King to 18, may put Queen down in the next couple of days if I have time. Exams are killing it, really.

Thanks Soumil. Also liked your new war base. I know TH9 is all about anti 3* but are you planning to make one with TH and CC in the middle so not easy to 1*. Being in the top 5 or sometimes top 2 too its easy 1* for loot once we are losing the war lol.

Hello guys, thanks for keep on updating the post. I've been away for a while, am back now though. I was still on the game, just didn't get time to update here.

Nam3less, you're doing great man. Should max out soon if you keep moving at this pace. The heroes are a drill though. Too much time, too much elixir. :)

I've mostly worked on walls and troops. nothing else. So here's the upgrade.

I've upgraded my DE storage to Lvl 5, and am currently sitting on 68K DE, with 5K more in treasury. If we win tonight, I'd be able to up my Golems to lvl 4.

I've been busy raiding, and have moved up to Crystal 2. Almost made it to Crystal 1, but people attack me a lot when there's so much DE at stake. It's hard to survive in Crystal 2, without TH9 additional defenses.

Lab has been busy - Current stats are:
Dragon lvl 4 in 9hrs. Will start golem then. EQ upgraded to lvl 2.

Heroes, King at 10, and queen at 8. Once Golem is done, i am heading for Valks, and then only I'd move on my heroes.

Valks 3 can be very destructive if paired with Rage. I've tried that couple of times and was amazed.

Recent wars have been good. We're sitting atop 7 win streak, and if we win tonight, we'd make it to 8. :) Pretty excited. The clan is still mostly inactive, but with few active ones, we're proceeding, slow and steady. 6 of 10 attack in war, and we're still clearing the house. Let's hope for the best and keep clashing. :)

Thanks for the push but i am trying to kinda slow down. Pushed a lot during the holiday in early Feb and now just want to take it slow.

AQ was 13 and started 14 right away. It was a hard decision where i was thinking of going for BK16 as i miss queen walk but then gave up and started AQ again.
Lava 2 will be done in 3 days and most likely will do rage 5 or healer. Heard rage 5 is massive game changer so might do that.
Started bomb tower 3.
All Eli buildings are done and quite happy that barracks are operating in normal speeds now.
I have slowly started upgrading the defense now since i cant be bothered about the war weight.
Have started the new Air sweeper lv 3. I will alternate between AS and AD and max them out.
Also will try to max out Cannons and AT and Xbows next.

On the trophies side, i have exactly opposite behaviour as you. While in Masters i would get attacked instantly the sheild was off regardless of the loot on offer. Now in Crystal 2-3 i dont get attack for hours and when i do get its still 1-2* and using Crows they hardly touch the DE. 4 max Teslas are killer. Max them asap if you can.

I am back to using ground troops after using laloonian in masters which was quite breeze even with lv1 lavas. All in all quite fun now TH9.

On war side my Golem is at 3 and i will try and squeeze that to 4 in between heroes upgrade. Can do 2* on consistent basis between top 5 in our 40x40 clan. Also our CO finally got bowlers unlocked so max bowlers are fun to use. Just had them for last war and still trying to learn them.

Valks at 3 are good but get them to 4 before Golem 4 i would say.

Ayy I'm generally 30ish on the war roster, so I just need to defend the 3 star, but I'll see what I can do for you guys! :thumbsup:
