Hey guys I'm looking for a good base that's perfect for trophy pushes all the way up to crystal lll. I have fully maxxed everything defences and walls. I only ask for one thing- a centralised air defence. Thanks for the help and i hope I find my perfect base :)
It doesn't really matter, you are going to get slaughtered with any base at townhall 6. The only way you will get to crystal is by sniping exposed townhalls and staying online for extended periods of time. I can understand the need to change it up and push for trophies every once in a while, but in my opinion at townhall 6 going for trophies is a waste of time. good luck regardless~
I've done a trophy push recently, and anything TH7 or below is automatic raid - as it will be easy pickings no matter what the design.
Personally I think your crazy to try a push until at least TH7, as a) you won't have enough defence to prevent 3 star losses every time and b) you only have 150 troops.

Agreed, I personally got sniped by a TH6 who's clan was doing a trophy push... by the time I got revenge on him (for 100%, of course, and IIRC I was only TH7 myself), he'd made over 2000 trophies and so I got about 54 back off him, haha. It took me days to get him, because every time I looked he was online, or his base had already been 100% trashed by someone else. It's hard enough getting to Crystal at TH8, I don't understand why you'd want to do it at TH6, and yes, your base design really won't help you avoid a three-star loss every raid against you, you'll only get there by a heck of a lot of wins per day.
Well personally I made it to gold league one before our clan started to farm and I managed around 5 raids per day if not at least 2. Sniping town halls ofc. But I don't see how u guys think I'd be attacked often? I rarely got attacked due to me keep very low resources and i mean low and surviving off shields. I'd usually get attacked by an all dragon barb king rage and get 100% ofc but most of the time other strategies would get 2 stars or less. I will be aiming for crystal and without doubt make it up there.
haha, I can only say that your confidence comes from inexperience.. but hey we live and we learn!:p and the reason you'll get attacked often when you get up to crystal I is because you're an easy target for easy cups. sure you will avoid getting attacked by farmers if your resources are low, but if someone is looking for trophies you're pretty much giving them away up there.
Precisely. Once you hit 2 000 cups many turn their attention to easy trophies - not resources. It's a whole new ball game.Quote:

Even if you have a paltry 50k of gold/elixir available people will LOVE to raid you if they can smell a 3 star victory. A chance to win 30 trophies easily in one battle in Crystal leagues is massive. Just about any trophy pusher will take it in a heartbeat.
