The invite only option is still there, If you dont like anyone can join, Dont use anyone can join. It is a very simple concept.

If they were going to remove ir, it would be on the ground that there is no alternative to it.. which there is

OP is troll, he cant stop losing gems to over active button pushing n wants to complain about an easily changed clan setting...best just ignored.

When you start a new clan the biggest problem is getting new members. Nobody wants to join a clan with 2 or 3 guys. You set it to anyone can join. It does nota matter if you win wars, get good members, have hoppers etc. The only thing important is to get your member count up to about 30 and then you can start selecting your members.
If you only accept th9s with max heroes and 1K+ war stars that apply.on your homepage, you will have to wait very long.

It will not work if the "Anyone can join" option is gone. Req n Go clans will just die and new clans will find it even hard to get members. You can always switch it to Invite only after you get a certain number of people in your clan.

The disadvantage is 4those who leave their doors wide open an wonder why a bunch of hobo's are at the dinner table. Not sure a player worth their salt would join an open ended clan??

What an odd request.

Once a clan is established almost all of the problems that OP is complaining about are gone anyway.

And those problems - if they are too much, do not try to start clans. Join an established clan. Once again, they don't have these problems.

Simplicity.

Why change something that is not broken. It's just an option nobody makes you use it . Besides it can be fun to open clan for ten seconds and get a good laugh as you purge.

even with invite only the stalkers would be there sending a invite every couple days so removing any1 can join won't stop them as the OP suggest
