Our nh is derby active, we have been in the champions league since it started, yet we are not Derby obsessed.
if you are a daily player who likes to play independently yet have a supportive group, then we might be the nh for you, below is our recruitment info and if you think it fits with your style of play please message me.
Well established NH - For Reputation points
We are an old established nh with active players formed when the town came into being for the purpose of picking up visitors from town.
We have a few spots open in our nh and are looking for independent active farmers.
So if you play daily and when you log on you want to farm (escaping real life for a few moments) and relish the challenge of building up your farm by yourself but with a few friendly faces to help water trees and fill the odd boat crate and pick up tourists for your town, then keep reading as we may be the neighbourhood you are looking for.
We have the following simple rules ( these rules keep the nh nice, friendly and stress free)
-No asking for help(except !),
-no trading (in or out of hood)
-no raiding (being greedy at others rss)
-Level required to join is marked as 67 but really we are looking for people with the same farming ethos as us so often have lower level players join
We are a nice, polite bunch of only occasionally chatty neighbours(usually about hay day) from many different time zones, our highest player is level 143, lowest 39 and 14 players are level 100+
we do not trade or do swaps with each other but if we have spare expansion stuff etc we give a heads up that it is in our shop (without an advert on), people abide by the no raiding/being greedy rule so the nh can all have a chance at getting a few bits.
With the neighbourhood request feature we do carrot swaps so people can get the achievement, however it is ok to occasionally request things for a Derby task (the key word here is occasionally)
Re the Derby: All the members of our NH pick tasks suitablefor their style of play, we have co-leaders and elders covering all time zones so tasks can be trashed ( tasks under 281) so that you can get a task to your liking, promotion when we are sure you and us are right for each other.
With some derby fatigue creeping in we have new rules for the derby. Most weeks will be maintenance weeks (to keep us in champion league for achievement but designed to be less stressful) which means if you opt in to derby you should do a min of 5 tasks ( most do more or all 9 so we still often get placed, but the idea is there is no pressure or feeling you have to, so if life gets in way so long as at least 5 tasks have been done it's ok). Then announced in advanced we will run super derby weeks where those who opt in will be required to do all 9 tasks (10th optional)
We are in champions league and have been since it's inception. (27 gold trophies, 22 silver, 7 bronze)

We have a great range of ages are all over 18 and go up to the 70's. I think theres about 10 around your age.
Some are chaty other no so,all is good as long as your not totally silent. Whats the point of joining a hood of you don't interact at all.As you can probably tell I'm a chatty one haha.
We have a few guidelines to help the hood to run smoothly they are:
Be friendly respectful and polite. A please and thank you means alot😊
Help each other whenever possible but please don't compromise your game in doing so.
Don't be shy to ask for help, we love to help our neighbours.
The Derby is played with tasks 270pts and above.
Opting out is fine with us.just please let us know if possible.
Diamonds are not excepted to be used on the derby your game your choice😊
Last and most important no drama,pressure or stress is allowed in The Gracious Farmers. So everyone can enjoy their game and play it the way they want to but if you would like some guidance, we are here to help you with that too.

Who we are: The founding members of Ye Olde Pasture are long time Hay Day farmers and daily players. We are independent players who are happy to trade and help members at all levels. We love the derby, and want to play for fun. Our philosophy is, more tasks on the board means a greater likelihood that members will find a task they enjoy doing, and by keeping lower point value and easier tasks instead of trashing we have greater participation and more tasks completed. More horseshoes, more fun. We are hopeful this philosophy gets us to champs, but if it doesn’t, that’s ok because we’re enjoying the game.
We are seeking primarily adult members. We are looking for members that want to play the derby at least some of the time, but recognize that life comes first. If you don’t anticipate being able to do at least a few tasks in any given week, we just ask that you opt out. Our goal is to create a pleasant and comfortable hood in which members respect other members. Helping neighbors is part of the neighborhood experience, trading is great, but please recognize that constantly begging for tools detracts from the pleasant environment. Hello Cheyenne, we're a champion league hood of 9 players, mostly working adults and students. We typically finish in the top 3 and that's mostly because of our low-key, no rules approach. The goal is 9/9 tasks at 315+ with no pressure to use diamonds but occasionally a player is having a rough week and that's alright. Every neighbor is at least an elder and we all pitch-in to trash tasks. We call dibs on longer tasks. Come on in and check us out before the next derby :)
