Why can we not have our heroes available for war while upgrading? Or the upgrading times decreased, because after level 15 there are 15 more hero upgrades that take 7 days each at th9. That's more than 15 weeks of my time out of commission.
I pay to play on occasion, but not anymore on my main account. I see no purpose for it. But if you could incorporate a fresh idea that involved compensation on your end, I'm sure the community would embrace.
You won't get a direct response from the developers. The 2 main reasons are slowing progress and gem usage. They would lose a lot of money from people gemming heroes. Also Heroes would be down constantly even when warring. It would also mean as soon as people have enough dark elixr to upgrade a hero it will be done straight away rather than if warring having the loot held and raidable. People may say it's not programatically possible but it certainly is and wouldn't be very hard to do.
Guy come on, it's not a mystery. It's a HUGE money maker for them, HUGE. They would be morons to allow Heroes in war. It really isn't a lot of money to gem your heroes times, especially if you wait a couple days. If I were president of the company and anyone even suggested heroes in war, I would fire them. That is like McDonalds giving away fries for free.
This isn't a FREE game, it's a game made for profit. People seem to think it's supposed to be cheap or free to play. It is if you want to wait, if not you have to pay. Money or patience. The game really is completely playable and fun, even spending almost nothing, but there are some parts that they put pressure to uses gems and heroes are the biggest gem sink in the game. People who war and have higher level heroes play a lot and are probably the most willing to pay more, as they are much more invested in the game.
Players spend a lot of gems upgrading their heroes...so it's a major income for SC...just as simple as that.
Be happy that the game is Free to play, you are getting free entertainment. ;)

nice suggestion, and a cool down after pausing once for 3-4 days will help supercell keep thier revenue flowing too or maybe increased pause cost at higher levels, but would definitely love to see something done regarding this. Its been requested too much so must be considered ofQuote:

I understand the profit thing but they can make an alternative that will sacrifice some green but it will increase the morale of paying players and prevent them from losing interest in the game.Quote:
