If you spend no/minimal gems (under 50) and get close to max TH7 before going up, you should get 4th builder from natural achievements and clearing trees by mid TH8 (I am currently at mid TH8 with 950 gems)Quote:

I managed to get my 4th builder hut 4 days before town hall 8. So it is possible.
Yes you are fine, when maxing dont listen to any morons saying you need non defensive buildings maxed and builders.. Seriously if you're someone who says you're not maxed because you don't have 5 builders go hop on a sharp rusty piece of steel.
anyways, th6 isn't so important to be maxed because quite frankly you could have the best th6 and th7 base and you can still get 3 starred by a th8 easily.
the really important thing to remember is make sure your defences and walls are completley maxed at TH7 before going up.
some will say when you're th8 you NEED lvl 8 walls before going to th9, but just enjoy the game if you're stressing over that part. I'm th9 with lvl 7 & 8 walls but with mostly maxed defences and noone ever attacks me
this looks like a maxed th6 to me but I've forgotten what max th6 looked like.
