Nick, will any of these issues with Rose be fixed?

My final thoughts on Rose

I read all the comments this morning and many match my thoughts. Without rehashing the entire forum, here is my final conclusion for myself.

1. Rose not feeding the animals she harvests does not work for me.
2. When Rose is set to zero, she needs to stop harvesting, feeding, and making feed for those animals.
3. There needs to be an easy way to transfer Rose's and Ernest's collected items to my barn so they can continue to work.
4. Both need to be affordable, not like lumberjack.

Without these things Rose is not very helpful to me and therefore not worth paying a reasonable amount for.

Glad you posted this! I set rose and ernest to zero after day one. Rose is still making feed.

I have tried every way i can think of. If anyone has any ideas... or hopefully news on an update... please let us know. :)

I can't say what changes we'll do, but I'll keep players in the loop when we have something to announce. It won't anyway happen until the next update, that's for certain (changes to Rose).

The lumberjack is something we can tweak if we need to, via a maintenance.

Nick, I'm mostly happy with the helpers. If setting Rose to zero stopped her completely while doing a task, that would be ace.

Agreed! Rose is a mess. She also keeps filling my barn and that messes with my play. If my barn has a few slots I can shuffle feed and still get all my animals feed, but rose will fill my barn and take up all my free slots.

Also the lumber jack price is a joke. Just hire Tom for 15 diamonds and have him get you saws and axes...much much cheaper and you get a heck of a lot more axes and saws.

O-M-G...That is a whole new level of terror...Rose is already a mess...didn't think about her continuing to mess with my animals and feed mills after the trial is over. I have her set to zero and she still collects animals and leaves them unfed.

My understanding is that while you may have Rose set to zero, if you are using Ernest and he runs out of milk to make cream, Rose will then go milk the cows and feed them. After feeding them, she will make enough feed to keep her own stocks up.

I know many people have a problem with this, but for me it works really well. I am very happy with these 2, and will definitely continue to use them if the price is right.

The two things that will make me spend diamonds on these two are:

1. Allow me to sell stock from my barn before selling stock from them. I.e. If my barn has ten milk and rose has ten milk and i sell ten milk my barn should have zero milk and rose should have ten.

2. Allow me to turn them off and on preserving the time I purchase. If I buy them for seven days but due to tasks i take i end up needing to set them to zero for two days, i should be able to preserve that time.

I am finding that my barn is constantly full it's annoying, when it's always full. You feel that you have no choice but to sell things that are harder to get.
Shopping in the Catalogue has lost its appeal, it's mostly eggs. So obviously if you post eggs, they will sit there for ages

You realize their stuff doesn't take up your barn space right?
