Are Bowlers the next nerf?

I have been playing for over 3 years and it seems when ever a troop combo is the only thing you see being use it ends up getting nerfed! I don't need to go through the list. It seems this is how they get us to spend money, gem the troop to max use or until they make enough money then kill it! they call it game balancing. Well all I see is Bowlers with healers and no matter what base I put up you cant stop them! If the base is tight the bowlers chew it up, If you spread it out they Q-walk you then finish you with bowlers! We do all th 11 wars and 2 wars ago they 3 starred 18 of 30 bases with Bowler/healers! I know not all of the bases are post update max but that seems crazy! They did have 4 burner accts but it should still be next to impossible to 3 star a th 11! So is bowler next they are the go to troop and they are unstoppable!!!!!!!

They already nerfed bowlers twice. Once with the healer nerf once with the bowler nerf. Most non modding th11 players are having a tough time in clan wars, they need to fcontinue to fix the modding problem rather than continue to nerf the few viable attack strategies left at tg11

No more nerfs bowlers are not unstoppable just need clever base designs I am near maxxed th 10 have stopped many bowler attacks from th 11 not all but most are 2 stars some 1 star

I hope not...it's all I've got left right now in my arsenal that has a prayer of a three star for my TH11.

Also be sure to report the clan you warred in game for modding if they ran 4 burner accounts. SC is starting to address clan war cheating by suspending clans; I see an unnamed clan with nearly 400 war wins and a 50+ war win streak has posted a screen shot of them getting suspended and they're not currently warring.

Air mines do very little to stop healers, not sure that was a nerf! You know its coming just because that is the go to troop and as history has shown us Supercell doesnt want just one troop being used!

No not a Bowlers ! it will be a new OP troop and it will get nerfed after 6 months !

A MAX Healer has 1176 HP.

A Lv. 1 Seeking Air Mine does 1500 HP of damage.

Thus, a Lv. 1 Seeking Air Mine will one-shot even a MAX Healer.

If they don't want one troop being used they should stop nerfing and start buffing troops

What's the point of having AQ walk anyways, 4 healers take 56 camp space, barely worth it, healers will die of SAM, good bye 14 camp space worth of troop that is barely predictable where

OP If your TH11s are getting 3 starred they either need upgrades or need better designs. Sharing the photos of 3 starred base layouts would help tell us where you could improve

Enough nerfing its hard to 3 stars TH10

your bowlers are quite safe for a couple of months, I'm just about to get them and have things in the lab already.

Nerfs only happen a day or two after I've managed to max them and I'm a while off yet so you should be OK for a bit :P

Nerfing bowlers would probably stop th11 dips on 10s from 3 starring most big 10s, altogether. Also make it harder on big 10s vs younger or rushed 10s. They've 'slightly' buffed so many defs already before nerfing troops anyways, that it's hard to tell when they add a level or buff any other troop. Not sure exactly what kind of game some would prefer to play, but if you can't tell the healer nerf changed anything, what can we talk about?

I don't see any nerf coming for Bowlers. I think TH11 vs TH11 AND TH10 vs TH10 3 stars are very rare, not to mention that most people are not fully updated yet. A full max TH11 is a very difficult 3 star form another max TH11. You have to be totally pro AND have luck on your side.

Its possible, and happens but has to be earned. I think the same thing about TH10 vs TH10.

SAM are quite effective at slowing AQ healer marches. It's rare to see a ground attack with healers end with any live healers now. It use to be you could count on having many if not all healers live through an attack if you planned well around AD. Now one shot SAM damage all but guarantees most if not all healers are ended well before the end of the raid.

I agree that they need to make some upgrades to the other troops. I see an easy 90%+ of raids against me as bowler healer in Champ1, Titans3. I use that raid all the time myself, as it is by far the most powerful and successful attack on pretty much any base design. I don't see any other combination of troops as successful, especially for a generic army when farming different bases.

I am not asking for a bowler nerf, I am asking for some other equal army options at TH11. Yes, there are other troop combos, but no other army, imho is as powerful as the bowler healer, especially for farming attacks, where you don't have time to plan an intricate attack. It is just getting tiresome seeing every attack be the same, farming and in war. I have designed my base with only the bowler healer attack in mind, I see other attacks so rarely, I don't even consider the possibility, and that's wrong. I don't understand how they nerfed miners, but bowlers, even now, are still stronger than miners were before all the nerfs. It's just stupid that bowlers are our only real choice at TH11.

The issue is game balance in general, something SC rarely adjusts properly. And when things are out of whack they let it go on for months. But the smallest glitch that benefits players they sure seem to patch it immediately...

Also, it should NOT be impossible to 3 star a TH11. It should be impossible if you have ♥♥♥♥ heroes, but anyone who put in the time, money or whatever to get 40/40/20 heroes and all maxed troops should have a 50/50 shot at 3 stars on a well planned attack.

Yeah... The problem isn't bowlers are too strong. The problem is the other units are too weak.

The only troop compositions that seem to have a chance at 3 starring th11 bases are either a ground army with bowlers or a lavaloon variation that is incredibly hard to pull off.

Why make bowlers worse if we will be left with almost no options to get high 2 star and possible 3 star attacks?

Units that need a buff or extra level at th11:

healer
pekka
miner
hog
valk
golem
witch

Bring these up a bit and there will be more variation in attacking armies. Supercell has had a history of nerfing units too much and too infrequently for them to have a good balance between units.

The answer's there - they had burner accounts. As to being next to impossible to 3 star, why should that be so? With a max army, including max heroes, I'd say it should be difficult but certainly not impossible.

It might be easier intellectually as well as less coding to nerf the top troop at the top TH level(s), because it's not something that would negatively affect lower TH levels, need more complex adjustments at every TH level, or encourage mass/spam troop deployments.

The only downside is that it may narrow the progression gap to the top TH level(s) and leave them weak on offense.

Oh wait, that explains some Updates too well. :facepalm:
