Good idea! ;) This helps SC get even more greedier and player get and extra chance to defend their base. The price should be like 10 gems to pause the upgrade for an Hour and needs to have a one day cool down so that it cant be exploited. After all the builders need to rest sometimes, especially when working on an upgrade that takes 2 weeks!
This is a nice idea, but 10 gems might be a bit too less. This because SC's probably making much money on people who buy gems and use it on instantly finishing their heroes. With this new feature, SC's income will be less on that, it'd be reasonable if we pay a bit more on this.
Btw is it a 'pause everything' button, or a pause one upgrade. And the cooldown should depend on what the average is of how often people would want to use this, and then make is slightly longer.

Sometimes you are full of gold and just stop attacking until the builder finishes (happens to me)... it would be nice if I could pause a builder, dump some resources, then carry on with the upgrade. There are people who leave one builder idle for walls... that would not be necessary anymore...
If you could pause a hero upgrade just once, it would improve clan war participation a lot... larger wars are great, but I don't remember the last time we did a 25x25 war in my clan (due to upgrading heroes)

Option 1 would be used more often, but would discourage people to gem their upgrades.
Option 2 would be a smaller change in the way people use their gems, but you would still have to miss some wars due to upgrading heroes
I prefer option 1, because I could even use my heroes for farming/pushing 2 hours/day. I really believe everybody would be able to go to war if it costed them 10 gems to pause their heroes and attack in war with full force.
Any suggestions for the cooldown, in case the pause feature gets implemented?

I'd say the second option then, but maybe let it depend on the duration of that specific upgrade. That if the upgrade's longer, you also will be able to use more pauses. This way people will actively use gems to pause things, but also don't use it too much?Quote:

I'd say 1 pause every 2 days, so that you can still participate in clan war continuously.
And yes, increasing the amount of gems needed to pause when using the pause more often is helpful, what about +3 per pause? starting at 10?

yes, one pause every 2 days would be fine... I think the amount Of gems needed to pause the same construction more than once should grow exponentially, to inhibit people from using it all the time... It would be like 10, 20, 40, 80.... once the builder completes that construction, it goes back to 10...Quote:
