sorry to say this but your not gonna get de with barcher... gold and elixer i would say gold league...
You can absolutely get DE with Barch. The trick is to hit under-protected th9 drills. The base doesn't even need to be "dead". Lvl 6 drill fills up in 18 hrs and holds 1800 DE. There are two of them and you can get 75% so 2700 DE on a good raid.
Obviously that won't be every raid but if you can even avg 1000 per raid as a th8 you'll be fine. Best range is usually Gold I and II. You'll usually find bases with 1000+ accessible DE and 300k of each lix and gold in collectors as long as you're patient with the nexting.
Barch frequently and patiently and at th8 you'll run out of things to spend your resources on very fast. It's called "the bottleneck" and its why a lot of farmers "rush" to th9 once they hit it.
Try an extended barch , costs a little bit of DE , but not too much:
60 Archers
60 Barbarians
5 Wallbreakers
5 Valley
1 Rage
4 EQ

The trick is to attack a base with more DE than you spend , you should try using the EQ to funnel your Troops (Mainly Valks & BK) To the Dark Elixer Storages , if not possible to completely open up a decent pathway, bring wallbreakerz to crack open a layer.

Start off with using 4 earthquakes to open up a clear path to Dark Storage , then begin your raid like an average Barch , but one the outside building to funnel your troops inside the base are destroyed send in WB to break open wall (At th8 it should open a pathway right to Dark Storage) Then funnel all your remaining barch troops & Valk&BK inside the base , use rage when the Valks are close to/Targeting DE storage and watch them TEAR the center base apart .
If all is done well you should be able to get 50% and 1 or 2 storages .
