For less than $1, I get the following goodies:

1. 50 diamonds
2. 500 coins
3. 3 nails
4. 3 screws
5. 3 wood panels
6. 3 planks
7. 3 duct tapes
8. 3 bolts

The offer is amHAYzing, and I'm sure it is one-time offer. But I don't need them because my pets and Town visitors will give them to me eventually. It's like being full and going to a buffet. The food looks and smells delicious but I'm just not hungry at the moment.

Sadly, this offer makes Team Hay Day look desperate for sales, IMO. I can't shake the feeling that HD has reached the top of the mountain and begun a slow slide into oblivion. :(

EDIT: I suggest this song be played at Hay Day's memorial service. The brightest star in the evening is fading and we must say our soft goodbyes and be on our way before we are left in the dark.

Oh no. Sinking feeling as a once excited new player, avid researcher, forum reader, but only played hay day since April, lvl 70. Again, oh no. I think you're right.

That's a nice offer. My offer was $11.99 for 250 diamonds, 200,000 coins, 10 mallets, 10 deeds, 10 stakes, and 10 maps. Level 133 with millions of coins and have been fully expanded since forever ago, so WTH?

But my baby farm is still sitting unhelped for the last half hour and I'm about to call it quits soon because this is getting boring, so I fear your ultimate conclusion may be correct. :(

It could also be that offers are made at different levels, and the lowest offer is extended to those players who have not purchased diamonds before.

I got a different offer for $10 as I recall. I ignored it.

It may be that everyone is getting an offer, tailored to be the next level up from the level of offer you last purchased. :) The offer I received was for the next level up from my last purchase.

I read an article yesterday about the explosion of mobile gaming in China that mentioned Tencent's acquisition of SC. Respectfully, I think it may be premature to call HayDay cooked.

I wouldn't interpret it as being desperate.
Looks more to me like testing a price point.
There will be people willing to spend say $10 or $20 on an offer and then some who won't spend unless it's just a few dollars.

If they can get enough people buying 1 or 2 dollar deal they might be more lucrative than the higher priced deals.

And we've heard gloom and doom predictions about the demise of HayDay before. Nobody expects HayDay to last forever but I wouldn't be concerned just yet.
Many thought the derby would destroy it. I might have been one.
Still going strong and still providing new content. Doesn't look like it's on its last breath yet.

I'm not going to speculate on whether offer a deal is a sign of going out of business. But...

Just looking at the diamonds (which is the only thing in your offer I would care about, as I'm fully expanded too): $11.99 for 250 diamonds is $0.0480 per diamond. The NORMAL price for diamonds of $9.99 for 275 diamonds works out to $0.0363 per diamond. So just looking at the diamonds, your offer is actually 32% MORE than the normal price.

The next level of purchase has been going on for a while: the reduced cost diamond pack, if you've bought before. Its always the next largest.
Not thinking the game is done, I'm thinking its changed. Look at it. Lumberjack is ridiculous, the " helpers" oh dear. And now, there is no doubting, resolution of graphics HAS been impaired for many, updates ARE impossible to install for many, ....
I'm not a freemium player, I pay my way, and I'm not biased in any way. But come on, it is changing. Quickly too.

I have one for $13 odd dollars which claims to be a town pack. But has 10 of each land expansion. I have unlocked every piece of land. :facepalm:

Yeah, I bought exactly that package two days ago, although in my corner of the world it cost $1.49. Mainly for the diamonds, as 50 diamonds alone usually cost double that.

Then yesterday I got an offer for the fishing pack for $10.99 (yes, I was surprised to get another offer a mere 24 hours after buying a package), which I could still purchase for another 4 hours. It did say "one-time offer" on both.

The fishing pack was tempting because of the 190 diamonds and the lures (3 of each colour - I don't usually have enough purple and gold tickets to make them into lures), but I'm a lot less tempted to buy anything after the latest update as I'll be playing less to preserve my eyes and sanity.
